I have a sneaky suspecion that Adam already has a contract in the making with a music producer and it would not be in his best interest in winning this contest...Simon Cowell must be pissed.... |

I think Adam is the better entertainer. I watched with my daughter and her girlfriend...both 1o and they were ticked off that Adam didn't win. LOL so it is not all tweeners! |

Anyone wanna put money on it that Adam will be the most successful? Just like when Clay Aiken came in second to Ruben Studder (sp) see i dont even know how to spell his last name. You watch i'll find this thread and bring it back up before the next years season and we'll compare notes on who is the most popular. I'm certain it'll be Adam. I dont want to be a sore loser because i like Kris i think he's sweet but there is no way in hell he is more talented. I know Kris fans wont agree and thats ok i'm not trying to hurt their feelings. |

Kris knows Adam is amazing - it was written all over his face. Kris had no notion in his head that would win. Adam will pack stadiums. The record label said today they would sign both Kris & Adam & probably another of the top five - Allison I hope. However, since Adam isn't bound to them now he needs to get an agent & look into his options after he's done with the Idol tour. |

There's always rumors floating around that Simon isnt going to return. This might tick him off just enough. Would me. LOL In a way Adam really is better off, just like Clay and Daughtry. I'll bet agents are squirming already. I'm not worried about that at ALL. What saddens me is that Adam fans are soooooo passionate about him it sure was anti climatic to hear Kris' name called. OH THE HORRAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

At least I will never again have to hear Adam sing 'No Boundaries' & he won't be required to release it with his first album. Silver lining! |

AT & T has said that something like 38 million votes came from the state of AR. Some are saying that they need to revamp the voting system & somehow limit the mass voting / texting. This is the first year I've voted, or paid attention really, & I was surprised to learn that people could vote more than once. I think the legitimacy of the show is that it is a platform for unknowns, & you don't have to win to become a star post-Idol. I don't think Adam ever dreamed he'd make it to the final - he was looking for some exposure, & boy did he get it. Winning doesn't guarantee success. So with that in mind, I guess it's cool that people can text & text & text & that can determine the 'winner,' but considering that 38 million votes came from AR, it makes it more of a mass voting contest than a singing contest. Granted, Kris has fans nationwide, as does Adam, & they both deserves to be in the finale, IMO. |

I was disappointed that Adam didn't win, but I also liked Kris. I do think that Adam will be the more successful one. As in years past, the one who wins isn't always the most famous! Look at Jennifer Hudson, Clay Aiken.Some stars who didn't win.Who knows?? But, It is a star maker, that is the truth. |

I've thought about it, & I am going to try & find a source for that AT&T '38 million' AR votes thing. It was in a news release from a local AR station, but thinking about the total population in the state & that many are children or elderly, that would be amazing were it true. Granted, some of those votes were likely for Adam...I am sure there are a few people in AR who're Adam fans. |

I also think that there might be something to Adam all but being annointed as the winner by the judges on the performance show. The American public doesn't really like to be told that their vote doesn't count. So, perhaps there was a backlash? |

cONgrats to Kris... he was shocked himself... actually said Adam should have won,,, Ryan had to cut him off a little so he could revel in his win.... Long as it wasnt David Gokey.. i really enjoyed David Cook, hadnt heard that song till last night.... |
