He can do the rock wail, but his voice is so pure...he's just so so good. I think a live concert of his would be about the best thing ever.

Im sad to see Danny go home. I'm very happy that Adam is in. I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like Kris. He does nothing for me. JMO

I'll be voting for Adam next week. Adam should win.

Go Kris, I personally liked Danny and Kris about the same, I just dont like Adam....I hated both of the songs he sang tuesday, Steven Tyler he's not...... He's talented but I'd take a Daughtry or David Cook anyday over that high piercing theatrics. I'm interested to see what songs they sing in the finale but I am not excited about the outcome. I'll be waiting for the July release of Daughtry's new album.

During rock week a few people noticed Kris Allen wearing what appeared to be nail polish on one of his nails. Shots of him taken during his homecoming visit last week showed chipped polish on one of his thumbs. This past Tuesday, the thumb was freshly painted...the same shade of Adam's nails - which were all painted except one of his thumbs. Seems the two were sick of the gossip that they were feuding & get along well, as do their families...read more here:

I was kind of thinking the same thing because Kris Allan should not win because I don't have him pegged as a type has a singer. And what kind of music would he record in a music studo? Would he sing Rock And Roll?

I thought Danny And Adam would be in the top 2 well this did not happen.

Carrie Underwood will be coming back to sing (I dont know what song is will be singing)

Maybe Kellie Pickler will come and sing.

All of the top 12 will be coming back on Tuesday to sing and all of them will sing together.

This might be Simons last season with American Idol because of Americas Got Talent.

Adam will win I think but Simon said this might be a surprise in the years of Idol.

Some info on the finale -

tomorrow night Adam & Kris sing three songs. They will sing a song from the season (I believe they get to pick which one), they will sing a song producer Simon Fuller selects for them, & they will both sing the (usually cheesy) song written for the Idol finalists. I've read that they can change up the Idol song but cannot use instruments. Kara & a few other people are said to have written the song. I have to say, while Adam & Kris both had some performances I'd love to see again, I wish they were singing a new song of their choice, but I guess that's a lot considering they have to learn the cheesy Idol song & the producer's choice.

Editing to add - the Idol song will be the same song (they've only written one), so while they can change it up we'll get to see them both sing the same song, which I think should be interesting.

On Wednesday, the show is 2 hours & lots o guest will sing. David Cook of course & the contestants from this year who've been voted off. Duets are said to include -

Danny Gokey will be dueting with Lionel Richie
Also confirmed to appear: Cyndi Lauper, Queen Latifah, Black Eyed Peas and Keith Urban
Jason Mraz is set to appear, according to his website
Keith Urban will duet with Kris Allen
Allison Iraheta will duet Cyndi Lauper
Rumored to appear: KISS and David Bowie (to duet with Adam Lambert)
Also rumored: Britney Spears (though Perez says NO)
Santana will be performing with all the kids

I don't care for Perez Hilton, but I hope he is right & Britney Spears is not on the show. I hope the Bowie and/or KISS rumors are true - someone has to show to duet with Adam.

Really I don't know how they will have time to announce the winner Wed. w/all these folks lined up to sing but I can't wait to see how it all plays out.

Sunny Bowie is a rumor thus far...I really hope he's confirmed & they're just trying to be mysterious about it. But squeeeeeeeeee I hope he's there.

I have never cared this much about Idol - never even voted or watched a finale before this year. I guess come Thursday morning I'll find a new hobby & wait for Adam to release an album & go on tour. I've thought about going to the Idol show, & I may still, but really I only want to see Adam. There's no one else I'd pay to see live. I may wait for some reviews of early shows & see how much he actually sings & how much is others soloing & group stuff.

I would have liked to see Adam perform with Aerosmith, but Bowie or Kiss would be awesome also.

I can't wait to see Allison perform with Cyndi Lauper! Too bad they couldn't get Pat Benetar to perform with her. I'm more excited about tomorrow night's episode!

The AI concert is on August 19th here, I want to take the kids to see it...

I hope the 'twist' on Mad World isn't too much...I loved it the first time.

Kris should do 'Falling Slowly,' he just did Heartless last week.
