The only Acts Simon really liked were Danny and Matt. He thought Adam was good but not great, and thought Allison would be in trouble....Adam is way to theatrical for me, Randy hit it on the head I wasnt surprised at all that he was in the bottom. Please if it were just a ratings thing and everything is set up than Daughtry would have never been booted for the laughable Taylor hicks. Danny is nothing like David A, Archie couldnt pull off soulful ever. Adam is a stage singer to me, he puts on a good show, but personally I cant picture hearing him on the radio...

I am starting to think about this ~ i wonder if Adam would be happy to have a recording contract without being on the stage and behind the scenes in a recording studio and then i thought of Jennifer Hudson and the fact that she's had both....movies/recording contracts/radio......why not Adam.

I do understand what you guys are saying though and i do respect your opinion....i just think Adam is in a class of his own.

I agree with you Sunny....I think Adam could totally have it both ways. He isn't everyone's cup of tea, but no denying the boy has skills!

Are you ready for some American Idol?

OH Crud! I was thinking today was Tuesday.....what a bummer, sorry.

I am totally in heaven. When my husband told me this week's mentor was Slash, I didn't believe him. I had to check the TV guide. How they ever got Slash, I'll never know. I'm even skipping the first hour of Biggest Loser to see him. This is gonna be so awesome. I personally would wager that Adam sings Welcome to the Jungle. He may redeem himself with me after all. I wonder if Axl will be watching. Enjoy.

There was talk in the salon today. I have no link, no proof or anything but this is just going around.

That Adam if in the bottom 2 will not want to win AI because he doesnt want to have to go by the AI contracts in changing up his singing, performance style. Like if Daughtry won would he have been a slave to their way of doing things? If Adam wins would he have to become an AI clone? This could be completely a rumor or speculation but who knows it could be true.

Looks like Adam & Allison, Danny & Kris for duets. At least that's what spoilers are saying. So I guess they each sing one solo, then one duet for each.

Sunny, I think Adam is set whether he wins or not. At this point, he is under Idol contract for awhile b/c they do the tour. I think he wants to win. I think he knows he's good & he just has a genuine love of music, but he never thought he'd be received the way he has been b/c he is not mainstream (like Danny, Kris, & pretty much every other Idol contestant that's made it this far).

I'd love him to win, & I think he wants to, but he's just so good that losing Idol will soon be a faint memory for him, & his fans, if he loses.
