Thank you Briar_Rose, like I said before I just have to be thankful for the hard times because were it not for those times I would not be the woman I am today. For along time I held a grudge against him for the way he treated me but I have recently come to realize that unlike some situations he did not make me stay so the only person I have to blame for those years is myself. I allowed him to treat me that way, and had I not been blessed with my daughter I would probably still be allowing it. God decided enough was enough and gave me a reason greater than myself to stand up to him.

It took a long time for me to get to this point, but God has don't miraculous things with me and I can only pray that continues to make me more like Him. If Jesus can pray for the men nailed him to the cross while it is happening then I need to be able to forgive those who hurt me... even if they don't want or think they need my forgiveness. The only person that my anger would hurt at this point is me. Sorry if I am chewing your ear off but He has been very busy with me these past couple of weeks and I am just so thrilled with what he has done for me I can hardly contain it!

Hello all you wonderful ladies, This is the first time I opened this thread and I am thrilled to find so many sisters in Christ. I am a christain and proud of it and so happy I found you girls. This is wonderful. I have had a very easy life compared to many of you. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 41 years now, and we have always been each others best friend as well as husband and wife and lovers. I count my blessings everyday for the good life I have had.. I will most definitly check out this thread daily. |
