3 Cheese Mosstaccioli Bolognese

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium zucchini, cut in half lengthwise and sliced
1 (26 ounce) jar Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce or Prego® Organic Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce
1 (16 ounce) package mostaccioli or tube-shaped pasta (ziti), cooked and drained
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS
Cook beef and garlic in 12-inch skillet until beef is browned, stirring to break up meat. Pour off fat. Add zucchini and cook until tender. Stir in sauce.
Stir beef mixture, pasta, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese and Parmesan cheese in 3-quart shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes or until hot.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

3 1/2 cups peeled and diced potatoes
1/3 cup diced celery
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
3/4 cup diced cooked ham more if you wanted
3 1/4 cups water
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon granules
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon ground white or black pepper, or to taste
5 tablespoons butter
5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk

DIRECTIONS
Combine the potatoes, celery, onion, ham and water in a stockpot. Bring to a boil, then cook over medium heat until potatoes are tender, about 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in the chicken bouillon, salt and pepper.
In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Whisk in flour with a fork, and cook, stirring constantly until thick, about 1 minute. Slowly stir in milk as not to allow lumps to form until all of the milk has been added. Continue stirring over medium-low heat until thick, 4 to 5 minutes.
Stir the milk mixture into the stockpot, and cook soup until heated through. Serve immediately.

Tonight we had grilled marinated steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, and I had a bottle of wine

Sandra, the shepards pie question.. I call mine Chinese Pie but I heard its a french thing... so it might be different. But I make it and its burger sauted with onions, cream corn, peas, and mashed potatoes.

Lean ground beef fried, then I add a can of manwich sauce and frozen mixed veg. The I top it with garlic mashed potatoes, grated cheddar cheese and bread crumbs. Dot with butter and bake to golden and bubbly..its fantastic!

It's more a British thing, but it's made many different ways. Some only use corn with the mince and potatoes.
I like to try variations..this one I did today is kinda Mexicana..it's really yummy!

My mom always made hers with left over beef stew topped with mashed potatoes or biscuits. I liked the biscuits best!
