dcorn, I made a huge pot of chili yesterday, used lots of my garden tomatoes, it was delicious

I made a pot of chicken soup on Saturday, my son's favorite. Now I've got 2 ready made dinners for the middle of the week, yeah!

Quote Eppy: What happened to the old thread on this? Guess I'll start another one. Well, ham and beans, fried potatoes, cornbread, green salad and ginger cake with lemon sauce!! What are you having, or wish you were having?

Thanks for starting this thread up again! I like getting ideas off here too

Great Topic Eppy.
Baked Salmon with herbed butter, rice and corn. The girls grabbed popsicles for dessert!

I've had this big piece of chuck steak in the freezer for awhile, so guess I'll make Swiss Steak for tonight, either on top of mashed potatos or noodles - maybe a fruit salad.

Hi ladies. I wanna join this thread because I have recently learned to cook a few things!! Yay for me!

So for dinner tonight- actually something very simple, tossed salad and grilled boneless chicken.

Sounds wonderful - can't beat grilled chicken and salad - I'm a nut for salads!
