Your schedule with soccer sounds about like mine only I think ours will be rained out tonight and hopefully tomorrow. Fields are real muddy I would think.
I've no idea what dinner will be. Maybe a frozen dinner for my husband and for me, I just don't know.

hi lynn!~the only time we git ah game canceled is if it is lightning out there!~other wise we play on thru any rain!~~the kids luv it!~not me though!~very bad hair day!~~were ya at anyhow?

Near Burlington NC, east of Grensboro. It's been raining for a day or so and starting back now. We're suppose to have 1 tonight and 2 tomorrow.
I'm with you about the rain. They also play if the fields aren't muddy. I don't like it either. Rather be sitting at home in a nice dry house.

nc ha? okay, we have quite ah few roun here from yer neck ah the woods sweetie!~ so you got ah game tanite an 2 tamarra? how many kidooos ya got playin?

I have 4 that play, but 2 are on the same team so that helps out lots. How about you? Where are you from and how many do you have that play?

lynn, i also have 4 jus like you sweetie~~im in socal!~lotsa sun still here!~my son is 16, an my daughters are14,12,9. rite now the my youngest daughter and oldest are playin soccer. an my middle daughter is playin sb. my son is doin weight trainin,an he is also ah baseball player.
i coach my gurls teams. we play soccer basketball an softball all year roun!~~keeps em busy!~~n me to!~~so do ya have twins or are they jus close in age?

No, no twins. One will be 13 in November, one just turned 11 the two others are 9 and 7. All boys. Three play baseball. I know what you mean about keeping busy. Between practice and games, seems like we're on the go most of the spring, summer and fall months.

Dinner last night was KFC. Fast food, but it was good.

mornin lynn! ~this is funny cuz we had kfc also on friday. so ya got all boys ha? how did the games go anyhow? we won one 17 ta 1. an lost one 6 ta3. the team i thought was gonna struggle ta win, killed the other team. an the one i thought would win, lost! ~makes no sense!~im gittin me ah cupah joe!~

Hi Rudy2
KFC really is good, isn't it.
Didn't think they'd play Saturday but they did and won both. The Friday one was rescheduled. Probably my luck to a 7:30 one, hate those late games. Especially when it's cold, blankets and cup of coffee is the order of the day, or in this case, night.

Sounds like my kind of dinner, Eppy. I love meatloaf, especially covered with catsup.
There's leftovers here but I'm eating a big salad with sliced fried chicken strips (thanks to Wal-Mart) in it.

Chili sounds good to me - was trying to figure out what to eat. My appetite isn't what it used to be and soups, stews and that kind of thing is more appealing to me than big meals. I found a recipe book on the newsstand the other day of 350 recipes for soups and chowders. What great recipes. If anyone is interested, visit:

I use pintos too, dcorn. Sometimes I like to add some kidney beans along with the pintos. I also like to add a small can of
chopped ortega chilies rather than chop fresh ones. Anything to make it easier, lol.

I made that for my daughter lunch. I had to grate the cheese cause we didn't have cheese slices...but it was much better.

For dinner we had Jerk Chick, Rice & Peas and Coleslaw. Everything was irie
