Chicken Chow Mein over left-over Spaggetti noodles.
Pineapple pie.

Dustin had no clue I already had it done and he's bringing home hamburger stuff, so I guess that Tommorrow.

How about sausage and pancakes? Just didn't feel like cooking and husband suggested that.
I'll just have to go back over these pages and get some ideas for tomorrow.

Maybe you'd better give us the recipe - sounds interesting. I'm thawing out a container of hamburger helper soup I made a month or so ago. Don't want to cook tonight, so will just warm up some biscuits to go with it.

I've tried Taco soup before and it was really good. I didn't know how it'd be at first but I'd definitely eat
it again. A friend made it and I need to get her recipe. Two out of three of my kids loved, the baby being too little to eat it then.

This may be cheating but I had a very rare dinner out last night, with my mother. We were in Manteo and she had backfin broiled crab meat & I had broiled shrimp. With slaw, big fries, & hushpuppies. Not salty & not greasy. Just lovely. And good iced tea. Anything would taste good if I did not have to cook it but these dishes tasted healthy and fresh. Ma is nearly 94 & has always wanted to see THE LOST COLONY so the two of us took off on a little vacation. She says she had a wonderful time but she has been in bed since we got home 4 hours ago.

Taco soup

1 lb of lean ground beef
1 lg onion
3 16 oz can chili beans undrained
1 16 oz can corn undrained
1 16 oz can chopped tomatoes undrained
1 15 oz can tomatoe sauce
1 41/2 oz can chopped green chilies
1 1/2 cups water
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 pkg hidden valley ranch dressing mix

brown beef and onion until done. mix in remaining ingredients, bring to a boil reduce heat and simmer 15 min.

I served it was some cruched tortilla chips. It was even better the next day!!! On the weight watcher system 1 cup of this is only 2 points!!!!

I am definitely going to try this. I love soups and especially the very thick ones - this is right up my alley. Thanks alot!

PS. When you say 'Chili Beans' do you mean the prepared chili in a can or just beans, like plain pintos?

Thanks so much for sharing the recipe with us. It sounds really good and I will definitely try it. I'm all for anything that gives me leftovers for the next day.

I'm cheating tonight. Frozen lasagna and salad and left-over pear pie. Just used the recipe 1 cup flour, milk, 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg 1/2 stick margarine and sliced up pears from the tree. Never tried it before but it turned out good.
