This sounds excellent, what kind of vegies to you roast and do you just put oil on them and into the oven? I need to get my family into eating more vegies!!

Last night I used red peppers, sweet onions, carrots, broccoli, zuchinni -- I just cut them approximately the same size, toss with olive oil, salt and pepper. Roast fairly high heat 425-450 degrees, takes 10-15 minutes. Another big winner at my house is asparagus, same prep, high heat for about 6-7 minutes.

Tonight's dinner was pizza and green salad!

GET READY.....

hog intestines...

OMG, EEEEWWWWWW, I'm not sure I needed to know that

I'm not as brave as you ladies. I did have venison before, not that I knew it b/c my Nana made it and she was good at hiding the fact it was deer meat...my Dad told me, other than that, it's poultry, beef, pig & fish for me.

That sounds good Pinetree, thank you. I will give it a try over the weekend. That may be a way I can enjoy broccoli while still having vegies my hubby will eat!

Tonight's it's pizza Friday....oh, or maybe Popeye's chicken.......it's take out for us on Fridays.
