Quote KeepingItReal: Sounds like what my Philipino friend is looking for.....intestines. They deep fry it.

They don't sell it here but she had it in New York last year while visiting a friend.

Lol Ch some things you just can't think about. LOL Poor little chickie

Oh yeah I love chicken foot soup

yeah here in the south they cook that too... not my cup a tea... in South Carolina they would eat a lot of souse meat... that was something they made like a soft pudding out of the hog head.. or they would call it hog head cheese.. they put alot of that meat in brunswick stew... which i dont eat either

Oh I've had souse - pig parts I think. But it was done in a soup... my Dominican friend mother would cook that on Saturdays with dumplings etc...it was nice but I had to get pass the colour...very pale but it was tastee

I am like you dcorn, I have had a little of all. We always raised our own hogs, beef and chickens. I didn't see you mention bear. Bear roast is great IF you cook it right. I ant eat squirrels. When they are skinned out they look just like a wet cat. I LOVE chicken livers. Can't handle the beef or pork ones though.
