You know what ticks me off about Obama's speech today. He thinks that his charismatic way of speaking and proudly prounouncing the Quran in his speech a fricken millions times is gonnna win respect and its not. He makes the USA look stupid and week. I don't understand why he had to make Americans sound so evil and that all we've ever done is oppress Muslims for hundreds of years, when it is simply NOT TRUE. He didn't do anything to point out the things the US had done to help Muslims and just had to throw in excerpts of praise to the Muslims, while insulting the US and that's totally degrading as an American.

Oliver North on the 2009 Obama Apology Tour -

www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=32161

As the Grand Apology Tour swept into Saudi Arabia, the al Qaeda terror chieftain released yet another audio-taped diatribe, condemning “U.S. aggression” in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Though Mr. Obama’s carefully scripted “grand gesture” before a thoroughly screened audience in Cairo was simultaneously translated into a half-dozen tongues and broadcast around the world, it wasn’t enough to push the bin Laden commentary off Islamic websites. That’s because Mr. Bin Laden “gets it” and Mr. Obama doesn’t.

Osama bin Laden doesn’t make any apologies for who he is -- or the violence he advocates. He is a vicious religious extremist -- and is proud of the sanguinary carnage he has wrought -- against thousands of innocent Muslims, infidels in general, and Americans and Jews in particular. He knows his audience is but a tiny fraction of the world’s 1.4 billion Muslims -- and is well aware that if only one tenth of one percent become “Jihadis” – he will have succeeded. Mr. bin Laden doesn’t want to be liked. He wants to be feared.

Mr. Obama on the other hand, is desperate for affirmation --thus his repeated references to his “Muslim father” and “the Holy Koran” in an effort to “bond” with his Islamic audience. To demonstrate empathy with “our Arab allies” -- and show improvement from his predecessors -- he did not visit Israel -- and pointedly condemned Israeli settlements which, he said, “undermine efforts to achieve peace.” To further establish how “different” he is, Mr. Obama has become very deft at distorting the truth to serve his own ends.

Quote Beverly Hills 90210: Hei AP - IG - Melrose and T rest ,I dont think Goverment ever take this border security seriously since previous Bush adm. or even Clinton,we know that;although they know many americans being kidnap and kills at the border,as the report from Glen Beck show weeks ago,In my opinion because of political reason, perhaps they dont want to lose hispanic votes.
we all already know soon or later something bad will happen.
since Gov. cant protect us ,we must protect ourself,9/11 just an example that how vunerable we are and Goverment only can do thing after the fact.
I watch the video on different site since I could not find the one you mention from washington post
this is the link.
www.saneworks.us/Dr-Abdullah-alNafisi-newsblog-2449.htm
Melrose - I C you 2 nite at yahoo
A P - there is nothing wrong to dream about strong leader like Vlad but most important is we want leader who afraid of God,thats the beginning of all,you guys believe it,without God we will lost,we believe that and nothing will change that from us,although many times I forgot and use my own human strength and sometimes Iam exhausted then I realize that there is a power way beyond human comprehend that can help us,Believe only HIM.

of course, nothing wrong at all, beside the more I listen to Obama speech the more I like Vlad,I just disagree with so many of his policies, its normal, just like many disagree with G W B policies also.
this is the third times I listen to Obama speech and Iam not impress at all by it.
as Ivan said last night "you CAN NOT make the BLIND see",ignored them as they dont exist for you.
I think thats very good advice, its very easy to follow
do you think because you apologize to the world, these Terrorist will stop hating us ? only Naive people believe that, just like Abdullah Al Nafisi said and his idea to smuggler anthrax through southern border who can kills 330000 Americans within hour.
I watch the video also, anyway Ivan ask " how you can win with people who loves DEATH " ? its almost impossible, unless you crush them first and find their weakness, annihilate !
this is one example that many people dont know

03/03/08 "Wall Street Journal" - -- Zahra Maladan is an educated woman who edits a women's magazine in Lebanon. She is also a mother, who undoubtedly loves her son. She has ambitions for him, but they are different from those of most mothers in the West. She wants her son to become a suicide bomber.

At the recent funeral for the assassinated Hezbollah terrorist Imad Moughnaya -- the mass murderer responsible for killing 241 marines in 1983 and more than 100 women, children and men in Buenos Aires in 1992 and 1994 -- Ms. Maladan was quoted in the New York Times giving the following warning to her son: "if you're not going to follow the steps of the Islamic resistance martyrs, then I don't want you."

Zahra Maladan represents a dramatic shift in the way we must fight to protect our citizens against enemies who are sworn to kill them by killing themselves. The traditional paradigm was that mothers who love their children want them to live in peace, marry and produce grandchildren. Women in general, and mothers in particular, were seen as a counterweight to male belligerence. The picture of the mother weeping as her son is led off to battle -- even a just battle -- has been a constant and powerful image.

Now there is a new image of mothers urging their children to die, and then celebrating the martyrdom of their suicidal sons and daughters by distributing sweets and singing wedding songs. More and more young women -- some married with infant children -- are strapping bombs to their (sometimes pregnant) bellies, because they have been taught to love death rather than life. Look at what is being preached by some influential Islamic leaders:

"We are going to win, because they love life and we love death," said Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah. He has also said: "[E]ach of us lives his days and nights hoping more than anything to be killed for the sake of Allah." Shortly after 9/11, Osama bin Laden told a reporter: "We love death. The U.S. loves life. That is the big difference between us."

Hmm,I still really like Vladimir Putin,he know how the world work,he is genius, fearless, experience and put the country first, regardless some of his policies I may disagree but every leaders have their own flaw.

I hope some one like Ronald Reagan will rise from Republican,he was and still the best we ever had IMO

"Obama Comes Out of the Closet on Islam"

by Gary Bauer

During the presidential campaign it became forbidden to draw any attention to candidate Obama’s Muslim heritage. Obama himself attacked any suggestion he had Muslim roots. Even GOP nominee John McCain publicly disavowed the use of Obama’s middle name, Hussein.

In the post-November 4 world, President Obama is emphasizing his Islamic heritage as if it were one of his greatest assets.

But President Obama cannot have it both ways. He cannot emphasize his Islamic roots when it suits him, and then label as beyond the pale those who mention his heritage when it might be a liability. Even more important, the American president must decide which role is more important to him, Apologist-in-Chief for the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims or Commander-in-Chief of the United States and advocate for American values abroad.

"Across Europe, Left-Leaning Parties See Clout Faltering"

online.wsj.com/article/SB124425154944290829.html

Socialistic policies have been in place in Europe for quite some time now...& what do you know? They don't work, their nationalized 'healthcare' is a joke, & people are fed up...all the while, we are in the process of nationalizing things - the banks, formerly private owned companies, & of course, healthcare.

Hopefully it won't take Americans as long as it has the European voters to recognize the inability of a large federal government to run everything & provide everything for its citizens. I am sure there are a few sitting at home now, months after the November election, wondering why Obama hasn't solved their problems & improved their lives, and maybe, just maybe, it will dawn on them that they will have to get up & do this for themselves.

As CA begins to realize that the wealthy cannot fully support both themselves & everyone else as well as fund state government, "California contemplates ultimate reform - no welfare"

www.mcclatchydc.com/nation/story/69467.html

And, Arnold has suggested a flat tax -
latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2009/06/flat-tax.html

What a novel idea...everyone pays 15% of what they earn in taxes. The wealthy still pay more (b/c 15% of $2 million is a lot more than 15% of say, $50,000) and of course, there will still be those who pay no taxes.

Pay attention to CA folks...it's our future. Going totally broke & then coming to grips with the reality that you cannot ask or expect a few to support everyone.

Hi Beverly and G E ,Annihilate is a 'good' choice for that type of people,no other way.
ok last night you see what Eve our Dems. statement about Death penalty, she change her mind after I ask her hypothetical question 'if that was ur loves one, could be ur mama, beloved child or husband ..anyone whom you love dearly in your family trap and burn to death inside the twin tower, would you want the people who did that to get death penalty ?'
she said yes of course ,well so why many of you usually said about cruelty, hate to defend the criminals and forget the victims ? because they are not related to you ?,IMO thats selfish, self righteous and hypocrite not to mention cruel too, this is happen too many times outthere.
Eve agree with that,I told her I agree to disagree but I also will give my strong opinion.
I know very well about 10 commandments, but every human beings fail to comply those and also many who disbelief.
there are exceptions of course, you are not quilty for killing in self defense and also by accidents..so many examples within this cases, which they will still receive punishment but not death penalty.
still,my opinion for people who torture and kills purposely deserve death penalty, excluded insanity.
some of our Dems friends agree with Death penalty and some of our Reps. not in favor, thats the fact.
sometimes Eve is too critical, probably she learn her lesson last night since she criticize Mikey about his grammar, pls thats too much ,he said just because you can put together fancy words does not prove if ur intelligent,ur just waittres Iam Physician assistant,I have college degree and ur job not require one,I speak more than 1 language and you dont and much more.
anyway I agree with each one of them ,this time Dems. and Reps. our friends agree about flat tax,IMO thats very fair for everyone,IF you think deeply about it because still people who made more money pay more also.
for example, ppl who make $100000/year,they will pay $20000 for 20% tax and if you only make $30000 you pay $6000.
I find that fair to me,and Iam not make much money either

Sarah Palin on Obama's Disastrous Economics: "Told Ya So" ...Warns About Socialism

Sarah Palin blasted Team Obama for their horrible economic record tonight on Hannity. The popular Alaska governor says that Obama is leading us to "an America we won't even recognize."
When pressed further she said we shouldn't be afraid to use the word socialism.

Apparently the Democrats fled the chamber, turned off the lights, & cut the internet feed to the proceedings...which would be funny if they were 12 year olds at a sleep over rather than elected officials.

www.nytimes.com/2009/06/11/us/politics/11health.html

AMA opposes Obama health care plan...

The A.M.A., with about 250,000 members, is America’s largest physician organization.

While committed to the goal of affordable health insurance for all, the association had said in a general statement of principles that health services should be “provided through private markets, as they are currently.” It is now reacting, for the first time, to specific legislative proposals being drafted by Congress.

...in comments submitted to the Senate Finance Committee, the American Medical Association said: “The A.M.A. does not believe that creating a public health insurance option for non-disabled individuals under age 65 is the best way to expand health insurance coverage and lower costs. The introduction of a new public plan threatens to restrict patient choice by driving out private insurers, which currently provide coverage for nearly 70 percent of Americans.”

If private insurers are pushed out of the market, the group said, “the corresponding surge in public plan participation would likely lead to an explosion of costs that would need to be absorbed by taxpayers.”
