Quote NEFERTIRI: Some bonehead in Congress introduced a bill “honoring the 2560th anniversary of the birth of Confucius and recognizing his invaluable contributions to philosophy and social and political thought.”

Republican Congressman Jeff Flake of Arizona voted against it and explained why:
“He who spends time passing trivial legislation,” Flake said, “may find himself out of time to read healthcare bill.”

LMFAO is that what the fortune cookie said ?

Good article from CFP
We now know it meant massive unemployment, a doubled national debt, the government takeover of General Motors and Chrysler, control of elements of the financial community

I know this is not national news worthy but yesterday, 7 county officials that were elected as Democrats, switched parties to Republican here in the county that I work in, Hardin County, TX. Gov. Perry sent them a welcome note. I hope this will become a trend around the nation.
