Quote American_ Pie: Despite the results of the 2008 presidential election, Americans, by a 2-to-1 margin, say their political views in recent years have become more conservative rather than more liberal, 39% to 18%, with 42% saying they have not changed. While independents and Democrats most often say their views haven't changed, more members of all three major partisan groups indicate that their views have shifted to the right rather than to the left. A Gallup Poll finds a statistically significant increase since last year in the percentage of Americans who describe the Democratic Party's views as being "too liberal," from 39% to 46%. This is the largest percentage saying so since November 1994, after the party's losses in that year's midterm elections. www.gallup.com/poll/121307 hei AP,I will send you lots of pictures of ex President R Reagan, got new collection. Iam back to work now ! Ciao |

Quote Mustang007: Quote Silver_Surfer: Quote American_ Pie: LOW KEY VISIT ? Aaah that does not surprise me one damn bit,LMAO....what do you expect ? Obama is more famous here in the U.S. of course with Liberal Media coverage all over him,and perhaps also some country abroad like Indonesia, but no Not Russia or China, they are different, they are also become super power country now. I usually not paying attention to any Obama speech or his apologizing tour, once or twice thats more than enough for me to carry for the next 4 yrs I enjoy the debate with our Democrat friends at yahoo last night,at least we draw the line, they know we dont care for Obama policies ,they dont care for G W Bush's,no need for moronic accusation of hate and craps. we are agree to disagree thats all,as simple as that fortunately our Dems. friends at Yhoo are not narrow minded, they know better not using race card or hate excuse because they know we dont buy that craps. If I have to choose between Hilarry or Obama or Condoleezza rice / Obama,I will absolutely vote for Hilarry or Condoleezza R,since those 2 more experience than Obama IMO,but thats IF since I and all of our friend never vote for Democrat so far. anywho I enjoy the debate last night too,so much fun and profanity, we all feel so good that goes to our Dems. as well, what a freedom of speech I think Obama and the Great Vladimir Putin will meet tomorrow morning/breakfast meeting, all I want is we restore our diplomatic relation with Russia,Iam longing to visit my friend in St Petersburg morning guys, yes it was nice breakfast,Obama mistakenly call Prime Minister V Putin as President Putin then later he call him PM ..LOL,anyway Obama told Fox News after breakfast "I found him to be tough, smart, shrewd , very unsentimental, very pragmatic" . as we all know, our fave leader overseas ok who cares about those politicians its time we have to think about ourself,I losing confident in U.S Dollar, its been a while I want to invest at Euro that has been outperform the U.S dollar since 2003,the way Goverment spend money like this,it wont be sustainable, many wallstreet economy analyst said, many of you read WSJ,you know what I mean. USA has more debt than any country in the world, you think we are immune of currency collapse ? think again,it was happen in some country in Asia over decade ago remember ? even OPEC already consider some alternative currency such EURO that seem more stable than U.S Dollar,Iam not sure if they use partially already, but Saudi FM Saud Al Faisal warns that U.S dollar could collapse if OPEC use alternative currency. even China and Russia talk about using alternative currency beside U.S dollar as world's primary reserve currency. I think soon or later will happen,we better think fast to diversify, invest in Gold, real estate thats not enough. I love to try foreign currency or investment abroad. as soon as Euro down $0.20 from current level Iam going to diversify some of my investment to Euro,I dont trust the Goverment handling the economy and seem its getting worst. these are 10 most expensive cities in the world,I got it from the Guardian UK,I also dont trust most main stream Liberal media here,I prefer to get the sources of news from abroad beside Fox's = Tokyo/Japan is #1 following by Osaka/Japan #2,Moscow/Russia #3,Geneva/switzerland #4,Hongkong #5,Zurich/switzerland #6,Copenhagen/Denmark #7,New york city #8,Beijing/China #9 and Singapore #10. those 9 countries are in Europe and Asia, its amazing how things change so much for the past decade. Singapore is very clean and beautiful,I have been there ,they have one of the best airport in the world/#3,USA is not even at top 10 I heard Gov. Sanford wont resign as S C governor. |

Vladimir Putin is incredibly smart, experience, strong,he has the quality of true strong leader with so many experience,I read his bio he attended a respected high school which only accepted students with near perfect grades,he also graduate from Leningrad state university/Law dept. after that he work for the KGB,the only one in his class on 100 to be chosen, his career is very impressive, well we heard a lot about him from our Russian friend Dimitry N Ivan. I hope Obama dont give in too much on the deal he just sign in with Russia, but I heard otherwise on Glen Beck show just now |

Quote Sahara Queen: Morning Mel, AP and Mustang its very funny that J Murtha support more production of F-22 Raptor, the same man who slander Marine Lance cpl Justin, you remember that law suit right ? "We can reach a compromise," Murtha says of Defense Secretary Robert Gates' proposal to end the program as planned. The secretary -- speaking for the White House -- is adamant about not buying any more F-22s. The little bit of advanced procurement that the House Armed Services Committee put in didn't help us much with the $3 billion we need for 20 F-22s," which is desired to keep the production line open. Yet, other challenges remain, including some that led Pentagon leadership to stick with the 187-aircraft cap first set by the George W. Bush administration. Former Pentagon acquisition chief John Young repeatedly cited stealth-based maintenance issues last year in criticizing further purchases. I really like this ultimate fighter Jet,maybe I can have MM take me to Langley AFB when I visit her I remember it very well- it is still on-going for my nephew,Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani, who was the Commander of the Battalion involved in the Haditha Massacre Hoax- John Murtha needs to be held accountable for his huge part in the destruction of the careers and reputations and of these Marines who put their lives on the line for his sorry ass.. |

Quote bigtimesoapfan: Okay I got a The Republican party didn't nominate Palin to run for President they nominated McCain, who though not my favorite, has far more experience than Obama. Palin was nominated to serve as VP. Palin & Obama weren't nominated for the same office, so comparing their experience is a bit silly. However, comparing Obama's experience to McCain's was pretty absurd, so Obama was compared to Palin. It is a fact that Obama was the least experienced nominee from the Democratic party in- I don't know, forever. The experience of the Republican VP nominee in no way changes the fact that Obama has never run anything - not a business, not a city, not a state, & he didn't even complete a full term in the Senate & was running for president much of the time he was serving in the Senate. Don't worry - his poll numbers are dropping, the economy won't recover anytime soon, his universal health care is going to grind to a halt in Congress b/c there is no money to pay for it, & he's going to get his azz handed to him in the 2010 midterms elections. |

Quote bigtimesoapfan: Okay I got a This is the new world. Conservative= bad, liberal = good, not only do you have to pay high taxes to an over-spending gov who has yet to be held acountable, but now you will probably have to pay more because it is only the right thing to do...especially if you're rich. You know what happens when rich people get taxed? Most of them become un-rich and/or move away. You know what happens when a country has virtually no rich people? Hint - they don't call it the USA! I know healthcare has got to change, but am I stupid to think there are 1000 much better ways to accomplish that? |

thats the matter of opinion I think,Rudy Giulani former mayor of NY said that Gov. Sarah Palin has more executive experience than Sen. Barrack Obama and Sen. Joe Biden combined,When moderator Bob Schieffer asked how Palin's experience as a mayor and governor in little populated Alaska could outweigh Obama's and Biden's, Giuliani chuckled. |
