good morning chy and all,
i have to tell you all somthing... the guy that wrecked at my parents house... he is alive!!! it was an cruel rumor that started that he died! he is doing quite well actually, my brother talked to his parents yesterday, the swelling is going down in his brain, they are going to take the tube out of his skull today, his catscan showed no spinal injury other than the break in the neck, they believe he will be able to walk.. i tell you, people talk in a small town, i want to go confront the rumor spreader. but that is not the christan thing to do.. i just want him to know what damage it caused to his (nick's friends and family) just because he was jealous that his wife was calling to find out how he was. but i just said a prayer for him.. (he needs it)

chy--- pinch thoose pennies.... i have a feeling that there is no relief in sight to jan. i got to come up with $300 for the lawyer... sucks!

Girl im pinching as tight as I can.... I need a Suddenly blessing of financial prosperity... God CAN and will do it...

Trust in the Lord with all thine Heart , and lean not unto your own understanding, in ALL thy ways acknowledge him, and HE shall direct thy path....

Hey chy & dcorn & all!!
Beautiful day here. Got Gas delivery yesterday, WOW, glad we prepaid for year at fixed price!! Feel for the elderly looking at the long winter!!
Rumors are nothing but distructive lies... Lies, lies, lies & the lying liars that spread them. I think every small town thrives on rumors/gossip, there is no difference!!
Can't believe it is the end of August already. My cast comes off Sept. 5th... Can't wait ! !
Have a great day chy & dcorn... Will talk to ya' later!!

wow,, some places will be chilly/cold in September... At least here in South Ga we get some relif in that area... Usually by Halloween it is cool enough for some heat.... Not looking forward to that at all... Just got done paying off the one from last year... had to make arrangements... it is an endless cycle of bills, bills, bills....

glad your cast is coming off... that is truly good news... never had the pleasure of that.... it seems like it would not be fun... my hubby had one on for awhile... off now, but he really had a good attitude about it.... me.... please...

Here is bit of info as to the state of our economy. While the politians are blustering about how good it is: Over 2,000 trucking companies in the USA have gone out of business in the last year. I just read that Priority Trucking (over 700 trucks) just went under. They are out of NY & IND. This may not touch many who are not in the trucking world but how do they think our goods are delivered???? Our economy is being crippled no matter who says it's not!!

I work for a trucking company... I pray allways for blessings on my work/job.... But if something happens... I know who my trust is in..... But trucks do deliver our goods... Target and Lowes are our main clients.. and they have alot of differnt things... we also deliver water and some other things.... there is always a demand when we have hurricanes etc... Not that im wishing a disaster would happen... just stating a fact...

chy- DH works for same trucking co for 31 yrs now. Hauls mainly P&G paper products as there is a big P&G plant near-by. So far so good....
dcorn - We start heating in Sept. We usually get first frost by mid-sept & killing freeze by end of Sept. We heat mainly w/ oil & have a propane wall heater in sunroom to augment oil heat. We are estimated to use $3,400.00 this year. Good Grief, that is ridiculous!! Someone is getting rich off this & IT AIN'T ME ! ! !

You have to realize that we heat from Sept to June. Our night temps can go as low as 25 below zero coupled with a wind chill factor it can be horrific. It is nothing to get a Nor'easter (blizzard) & have it last 2 days & dump 3' of snow. We have window covers called window quilts for the sunroom. No matter what they say about a 4 season sunroom, no glass is a good insulator.
Our monthly electric bill always doubles in the winter to about $200.00 - Now do you see why so many retirees from the north want to move south. We are not "snow birds". We are desperate to go where it is warm & tired of fighting the bitter cold & snow. Ah! The sunny south in February!!
