I have some good news... my prescription is only 4.00 at Walmart... should have been changed from CVS.... that was truly a blessing... cause i need the meds, but funds were limited... God is always on time.....
thank goodness for wal-mart! my blood pressure meds. only cost me $4.oo too! wal-mart is doing a good thing with their presciptions prices!


they gave me something called Liprosol (sp) i read the side effects and aint too happy... but the doctor said those are rare.... But it said that may make you drowsy, and not to drive... so i guess i will take it at night, cause i gotta drive.... no question... what kind do you take

i take metoprolol. it is an genric . i take one in the morning and one at night!

Thanks.LOL.My mom was like do you want to drive.I was like oh ok.There were a whole bunch of cars around me and I was freaked out but apparently I did ok because the car is in one piece.LOL.

you can take up to 800 mg. of ibuprofen at a time. you can also take 2 tyenol with them. try a heating pad. thermocare sells a heat patch just for cramps. you can also curl up in a fetal position while laying on your left side.try wearing a pad intead of a tampon while you are cramping . .. hope this helps. sorry that you are having them... they suck!

Hey Chy - I take BP Meds. It is Toporol. The warnings were the same. I have never had any trouble with it. I just make sure I take it at the same time every day. Good Luck with yours!!

This works great for me. I am also VERY careful with salt. That is an enemy for High BP!! I do have some occasional potato chips but I make sure that I have a few & not the many. LOL!! Read labels- if you are not now aware of the salt content in some foods you will be amazed how much there is, especially fast food & prepared food. (All the good stuff!)

This may sound wierd but if I eat too much salt my ears will buzz. Dr. said it was my body telling me "TOO MUCH SALT!" Getting old sure does stink sometimes. Just when you can afford all the goodies you find out you can't eat them!! LOL!! LOL!!
