I always like to get new ideas. I read in a book recently from one of the experts that her theory is Vitamin C plus Fiber plus protein equals weight loss.

I was told by my Doctor that to much protein is not good for ya when you are on a diet.

I eat veggies,and i use my treadmill.I try to walk at least three miles five days a week.And i drink water,and sprite zero.

lots of water and one diet coke a day. i also love dennise austin dvds. she rocks.

It took me 10 months to lose the baby weight I gained(37lb). I went to the gym 3-4 days a week. The treadmill and the elyptical (spelling) helped me very much. Also if I didn't have time to go I stayed home and did Billy Banks Tybo. Tybo helps your abs, buttocks, and thighs.

I eat alot of fruit and vegetables and drink plenty of water.

Southbeach has wonderful frozen pizza's and sandwiches that I eat for lunch. Very filling, taste great and low calories. My favorite is their turkey wrap.

Instead of eating regular pastas, white breads, etc. substitute them for their whole wheat counterparts. True, the whole wheat versions do have a higher calorie count but they fill you up faster than the regular pastas, white breads, etc. so you won't eat as much.

Cut back on the red meats and other fatty foods (opt for marina sauce instead of alfredo; drink 1% instead of 2% milk, etc.) and increase your vegetable/fruit intake - 5 to 6 servings of these a day will make your body happy. Also drinking a lot of water does your body wonders.

Eating breakfast does wonders for your body too as well as eating a number of smaller meals during the day. I have 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) as well as 3 healthy snacks during the day.

About a year before I got married I followed these tips and wound up losing about 40 lbs. I still follow these tips and haven't had a problem with my weight since.
