Thank you. It is like one thing after another. I am my dads only living child what I mean by that is that when he was with his first wife they had a miscarrige bc the uterus or the body rejected the fetus. Do you know why that would happen? My mom doesn't even know only me and him know. My mom wants me to talk to her about the split but how can I when she says she hates my dad how can I talk to her about him when she hates him?

I try but I remember that she hates him and can't even stay in the same house with him. And I know I am not responable. Even my brother and sister hate him (we have they same mother but not same dads) bc they can't let go of the past he just didn't love them they way he loved me but my mom and siblings should have respect for him bc now he is trying smooth things over but they won't let him so yeah my family is complicated and screwed up. If my dads first baby would have lived I would still have a half brother or sister I love my bro and sis but I still wish I could have a whole sibling who can understand me better than my half bro and sis. But do you know why the body or uterus would reject the fetus? I have look on the internet but I can't find ehat I am looking for.

This also happens when the blood type of the parents are the problem. I am A- and my husband at the time was O+. A- is quite a problem where pregnacy is concerned. As dcorn says the body tries to fight the foreign body. Whenever an A- woman gives birth, has a miscarriage or an abortion the MUST have a shot within 24 hours to keep the Rho-gam or the bodies defense will get stronger and cause future problems. A big problem is that so many women have miscarriages that they don't even know about. This are the ones that happen really early. But since no one knew thry had even been pregnant they do not get the shot they need. I had to carry a medical card in case anything happened during a pregnancy I was not able to let the Drs. know. It was like a medic alert card. This is probably not what happened here but this is possibility. Below is an article in case you want to read it.

Your Rh type is important in pregnancy because mother-fetus blood incompatibility can occur when the mother is Rh- and the unborn baby is Rh+. This is a serious and potentially life-threatening situation for the growing fetus. An Rh- mother will produce antibodies to Rh+ blood if it enters her system. When birthing a baby, placental rupture normally occurs. This causes some fetal blood to enter the mother's system, thus stimulating the development of antibodies if the baby is Rh+ and the mother is Rh-. This poses a serious risk to any future Rh+ babies a woman may have. When the next pregnancy occurs, the mother's anti Rh+ antibodies transfer across the placenta into the fetus. There they will react with the fetal blood, attacking the red blood cells and causing them to burst. As a result, the newborn baby may be born with life-threatening anemia, causing a lack of oxygen in the blood. Baby may also be jaundiced, fevered, and have an enlarged liver and spleen. This is called erythroblastosis fetalis. The good news is that this serious condition is preventable. As a part of their prenatal care, women at risk (Rh- women with Rh+ mates) can receive a serum called Rho-GAM. The Rho-GAM injection contains anti-Rh+ antibodies in a small dose and is given to the expectant mother around the 28th week of pregnancy and again within 72 hours after the delivery of an Rh+ baby. This important treatment can be 99% effective in preventing erythroblastosis fetalis by acting as a passive form of immunization. The Rho-GAM prevents the mother from forming her own long-lasting antibodies. The Rho-GAM antibodies are temporary, leaving the bloodstream after a short period. Rho-GAM is also given to Rh- women after a miscarriage, an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy, or an abortion.
