For those that haven't heard on Friday we received some wonderful news! Right now my Mom is responding to the antibiotics and for the time being she is out-of-danger! So we are rejoicing in God's goodness and grace. This is truly an answer to prayer and nothing short of a miracle.

Thank you so much all your prayers and many words of encouragement.

Dakota - I'm praying that your Mom will receive good news this week. Waiting on tests can be exhausting and is never easy. I'm so sorry your Mom has to go through all these difficult infections and treatments. My heart goes out to you and wish I could make you guys a meal or something. I know these are incredibly tough times for you. But remember God is there and He will sustain you.

Karaid - My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know you must be anxious about the results. Please keep us informed. You're a very special person. You always make others feel better by your kind words and thoughtfulness.

Tess - What a terrible thing to happen. Hit and runs are atrocious! Please tell your friend we are praying for him and his family.

LoveMyCat (Debbie) - Great news about getting financial aid for your classes. Have you picked a major? Glad to here your Dad is holding his own. You're so right sometimes no change is good news!

Sunny - Glad to hear your Mom is doing better and able to come home. She's a lucky lady to have such a kind and devoted daughter!

VickiLynn - Such good news about your Dad! So glad that he'll be going home soon.

Dolfanforlife - Hope you're a wonderful vacation. When you get back we want details!

Sherlindrea- The closer the distance for the move the harder it is. One time I just moved next store and thought it would be a piece of cake. WRONG!! It took forever and was probably the hardest move I ever did. I guess it's because you think by doing a little at a time, it'll be less work. Anyway good luck and enjoy your new home!

Suz & Speechless - Your tales of office tattlers is catching because this week I had one of my own to deal with. I've worked there for over 5 years and the new girl for less than 2 weeks. She took something I said completely out of context, just to make herself look good, and ran her mouth to the boss. So much so that when I came in that night I had a pretty nasty and poignant note from the boss to mind my p's and q's. I was so upset and just furious. Especially, because the boss didn't even bother to ask me about it. She just took the new girl's word for it. Fortunately, I called the boss and cleared the air so everything is ok. But I have to still deal with this new wench everyday. So the advice I so freely gave you guys last week about killing them with kindness is pretty hard because all I want to do is KILL!

GaPeach, MeganNicole, A-Luv, IHeartYou, DiRN and any others I may I missed (I don't want to leave anyone out) you're wonderful and thank you for making my DAYS brighter by your sharing your thoughts and posts!

I really need to catch up on Days of Our Lives. I stopped watching it for over a year because Nicole Walker left. Now I'm getting back into it.

What is up with John. Is Stefano is father or something? And why is his memory gone again?

STAR: I won't be on much this week because I have to take my mom for the tests on Wednesday.

Hi Everybody I'm home!! Thank God I am home. We come home on Sat. My dad is doing okay right now. He still needs constant care but by next week he should just need someone of the day.

Okay so I got the results back on the Ct-scan. It didn't pick up the Mass that was originally found in the ultrasound . I am very annoyed, so NOW I have to follow up and run a few more tests, and see what they say. I just don't understand how it could be their one day and gone the next. So here I am still with no REAL answers.

Hey guys man have I missed you ALL... I've not been on in what seems like forever. I miss coming here and posting with all of you and reading, now I'm so far behind I don't have a clue where to start at. I've been so busy with things. My husband has taken a week off to just rest. The new born I was asked to watch for 2 week (a month ago) is still here every day for 12 hours, and an hour before she leaves my 8 month old niece comes til about 10 at night I'm so pooped after that I don't even feel like sitting in this chair, I need to get the lap top back out. I know I wrote to you all about my oldest daughter about to enter the 10th grade and she was invited into the sorority there and they had initiation week, it was truly hell week. They had 3 week old liquefied garbage poured on them, not to mention maggots, the heat here was awful that week one girl had an asthma attach and then a heat stroke the next day. My daughter managed to make it through just a little bruised from all the crazy mess they had to do outdoors all week. I'm just glad it's over. I've tried to skim through and catch up on what's been going on with everyone real fast I hope you are ALL doing good.

dolfanforlife I did have a good weekend, we did a grill out dinner for my step fathers birthday. I hope you've had a great week!! Thank you for always being so sweet to mention or ask about me. I miss you!

VickiLynn I also read that your father is doing ok, still not great but ok, and that is a lot better then I'm sure the fear and worry you had not too long ago. I pray for ALL of you with all my heart.

We went down to Philly over the weekend, I've had a really crappy past 2 days, and I'm really not in the mood to be online, I just wanted to stop in say hello to all of you...

Hi Everyone!!

On my second week of vacation out west staying with my sister in law. We spent hours in the E.R last night having blood work done for my daugher who is on many medications. It was scary all the blood they took. Never had seen that much take on her before. Glad its over with and her levels are all normal. Side effects of her medications are the cause for her tremors and dystonia. They will try to decrease the dose or may she will have to discontinue if the tremors keep up. Wasnt a fun thing to happen on vacation but relief and peace of mind now that she is fine.

STAR2200 - Vacation has been relaxing and wonderful. Full of shopping, good food, entertainment. I am celebrating with you on your mom's good news. Wonderful!!

Hi everyone. As you know, I haven't been around much. All is well here at home, but I am working on getting all my ducks in a row, regarding my classes. I start Monday, but I still have to get some stuff onto my computer. It's been a confusing process, since I am no computer expert, but I'll get it. Hi again! Back sooner than expected. I just went over to the message boards, because I have not had time to be there in a while either. The first one I opened was the "note to posters" thread. I have never seen such behavior out of a group of adults. Due to that ridiculousness(?), I will not be going back to those boards any longer. The drama is just too much, and I joined this site for fun. I don't have time or energy for it. I will come here to the lounge and speak with you folks when I can, but my message board days are done. The only thing I will be doing is reading my fan-fics, I can't do without those!! I just had to vent, guys. Be back as soon as I can. Later......Kat
