Has anyone else out there ever experienced wedding dress remorse? When I got married the second time I found my dress in a magazine, knew right away it was the one, loved it, but that was in '92 and now when I look back at my pix it's so not what I would choose now and I have this burning desire to do it all over again. I mean not the marriage, just the dress. What's weirder too, is that my first wedding dress was beautiful and I have no regrets about it, just regrets that I got married the first time.

Not in the way that u have... I have remorse because for my second marriage i had my wedding dress picked out... but circumstances prevented me from having the small wedding etc that i was going to have, and then i couldnt get a refund on the dress... so i lost money on it... so i still have alot of residual feelings over the whole situation... But i got married and that is what counts... Maybe in the future i can renew my vows, and have restored to me what i didnt have previously...

Sorry, I love the dress I picked out, and I got it on sale, how could I regret that?

I have no regrets...my mother was going to make my dress, but my grandfather (her father) was in the hospital and she didn't have time.

We went to finalize flowers for the ceremony and someone had just returned a dress... I tried it on and it fit perfectly... would have liked to have purchased it, but since I have since not been able to have children, glad I didn't.

I love reading these wedding dress stories. I guess I should just take comfort in the fact that it was a beautiful wedding and I have a great husband. Now that I think about it, my mom looks at the pictures of her dress and she has some amount of mother-of-the-bride dress remorse too. And her dress was gorgeous and still looks gorgeous to me.
