Hey everyone, I just wanted to stop in and say hi! I'm working everyday this week so that the girl who is leaving, can train me for a full week...so far I love it! And once I get settled in, I can come online and play again! The job is easy and the money is good, so yay me! I'll try and stop in from time to time this week and catch up with all of you...take care everyone!

I too have been a headache sufferer most of my life and yes, the allergy season is the worst for the sinus problems. Even with medicine, the extreme heat does me in.

Karaid - good morning and have fun shopping! I want to just go home tonight and relax! My house is a disaster though, and I should really give it a good cleaning. We will have to see how the rest of the day progresses...

Suz - I hope your car is working better now! My hubby called me at about 5:30 this morning and told me he ran out of GAS about 10 miles out of town! We have a 30 min commute to work and he is notorious for running out of gas! He used to do it all of the time when we lived in the city (Lubbock), but now we live in a tiny town and the one gas station that there is isn't even open until 8:00am! He has to be at work before 6:00am - so every now and then he chances it! Luckily - he got a ride into town and I got to sleep just one more hour...

Hey everyone... things are looking up. I got a new car yesterday and I LOVE it! It's a Honda Fit-Sport. It's the perfect little car for me. If anyone is in the market for a new car, check it out... it's affordable, roomy, sporty, and just awesome. I'm thrilled.
Work is still a nightmare, and getting worse as time passes. To kinda clarify what I'm dealing with, I'll try to brief you... I work for an up & coming Industrial Pipe Manufacturing plant. We are not yet open, but currently under construction. We are owned by men in India, who have a similar plant. They have a very hard time grasping the differences between US standards, building codes...etc... v/s what they know in India. This causes some real issues. Also, the majority of our manufacturing equipment is purchased from foreign countries around the world and the purchasing process becomes very complicated with foreign currency, shipping time frames & costs, etc... I am purchasing manager. My job is very stressful. Our deadline for the plant to be in fucntion was 6/15, but today is 6/12 & the plant is still under construction and none of the equipment is here yet! I'm juggling delimas here 24/7... and have the responsibility of about 3 employees... and it gets worse every day as we reach our unmeetable deadline. You will probably be seeing less and less of me due to this. At night, I'm just flat out tired. My only real release is writing the fan-fic. I try to squeeze some in during the day to help get my mind off things here at work, but it isn't always easy. My home computer hates me, so at home it's even less easy to do anything on line.
I miss you all & am ready for a vacation!!!!!
Tom will be on the food network this month. We are not sure what night, so be on the look out for that show "Diners, Dives and Drive In's" when they come to the MS Gulf Coast!
Otherwise, things are good... we are both just tired. We will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary next weekend. Yea!

Suz - I am glad that you got a new car and love it! Esp since you weren't really planning on getting one! My car is still in the shop - a 2 hour job has turned into 4 days now!!! I have been driving my mom's big ol' truck and I am starting to like it! I am not used to a big truck, I have a little 2 door cougar!

I am sorry that your job is so stressful and now that you have laid it out like that - I totally understand! What an awful lot of pressure to be dealing with on a daily basis!! And getting worse - like you said - since you know you won't be able to meet the deadline! I hope that your employers realize what a gem that they have in you and loosen up a little since the dealine is immpossible anyway!

At least maybe you can enjoy your anniversery this weekend with Tom! Take a break girl!! I am still loving your fan fic! I actually FORGOT to read the daily update this morning!! I read your fan fic and then just went back to work! It was after lunch when I realized that I hadn't even glanced at the update!! I am just so captivated by your story that I forget that there is another one!! KUDOS to you!!

Just wanted to stop in and say hi to everyone! I haven't really read all of the posts, so forgive me! I'll catch up with all of you next week when I have more time to play online. I'm trying to adapt to working again, and having to maintain a daily routine...I've been so tired all week, and last weekend was looooong. My sister in law had a baby shower for her daughter and I helped with that, we were up late all weekend...went out shopping at midnight to the 24 hour Wal-Mart...lol...I've been going to bed early and still feel like I haven't slept in ages...so my husband is going to let me sleep in tomorrow, yay me! I'll be fine after this weekend though...and trying to quit smoking...ugh! I've cut back tremendously, but I haven't fully quit yet. Anyway, I've babbled enough, I'll catch up with you all later...take care and I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Tess: I am sure that being back to work is a whole new world for you. How long were you not working for?

My mom was tired and weak but she seemed perkier today. Hopefully, next week her blood count will come back up and she will feel stronger before the next round of chemo on June 23rd. This is just so much emotional stress on the rest of us.
