suzrocks: I saw your last post on Saturday. I love numbers.

It is a scorcher here in NY for the next few days. I got my a/c in the window yesterday.

I am heading off to the Farmer's Market in a bit. I want to get fresh veggies and puree them for mom because she is having trouble swallowing from the chemo.

I had to put SUMMER SIZZLES in the title because whoever else is in a heat spell....This feels like August instead of June.

I know what you mean about this heat. WOW yesterday my truck read 99. I also have those window units. They work good but central air is much better..LOL
Forget it if I cook it never cooks down, so I guess they aren't that great, Well good for me I don't have to cook in this heat...LOL
Well have fun at the farmers market, I wish we had something like that. I bet the fruit and veggies are so much cheaper then the grocery store.
Well my plan for today is to stay cool it's gonna be another HOT one today.
BTW to any Mothers out there with little boys I was shopping at KOHLS yesterday and they now have Tony Hawk clothes, they are sooo cute little skater clothes. And they are about $8 a shirt not bad. Anyway just want to share.

Good Sunday morning posting pals. It was hot here in Lawrenceville GA yesterday also (98 degrees). My husband and I were working in the yard so I thought I was going to die... it was so hot. Took lots of breaks and kept a cool rag near by for when it got to unbearable.

Headed off to the mountains of North Carolina for the day to see in-laws... hopefully it will be cooler up there.

I just saw your post and just to let you know...the Farmer's Market price is higher then the grocery stores but much better quality. It is fresh grown and picked right from the farm.

My TMJ eased up a little this weekend, but ugh... seems like the minute I get to work it starts acting up again. Gosh, it would be great to get a job working for Days and leave this mess behind!!!! Also, my computer at home is dying. I've had lots of problems with it ever since I bought it. It's only a year old. Now it's saying I have to buy a new battery (and remember, I can't run it while plugged in/charging... it doesn't work!?!) I know those batteries are expensive and I don't want to buy one for it because I hate it... I want to just throw it out the window!!! Anyway, my car broke down yesterday too. No idea why!?!? It broke down twice, but it's about 1 month past warranty now so isn't that good timing? Today it seems to be running ok, but I'm a little nervous because my journey to & from work is long so I hope it doesn't break down on me again. It was acting like it had bad fuel!?!? I put gas treatment in and premium gas (Talk about expensive!!!) I hope that solves it!

I hope everyone is well. It is still HOT, we have be in the 100's for a few days . It feel like August. And today I have a headache, and just want to be inside all day, however my son will not go for that. He wants to Swim all day. Maybe I can hide in the shade somewhere.LOL

Good morning/afternoon! I just got caught up on Suz's fan-fic. YAY! It was great and I can't wait for the next installment! Her Lucas is so much SMARTER than the one on Days! What a moron for breaking out of the mansion!!! Why doesn't he pretend that he has half a brain and just ask for Mickey to arrange a transfer!! *wink to Suz* Now that is a great idea!

It is actually nice here today outside! My airconditioner went out on my car during the winter. No big deal right...? Just wait for summer to come up with the $700 that it is going to take to fix it. Well - it has been over 100 degrees (as high as 110!!!) for the last 2 weeks - not counting one day that it rained 3 inches this weekend! So am dying to get it fixed! It is in the shop now, on the coolest day in a month! I bet that this summer really COOKS and I can't wait to get my car back!

I am really dragging today! I won't go into the TERRIBLE evening/morning that I had... Just to give you a hint though - I ran over a dog (he was ok), rescued a blind turtle, got stopped for speeding, and arrested for a hot check that I don't remember writing 4 years ago! All that before lunch! All charges straighted out and I am just happy to finally be here at work *rolls eyes* and working through my lunch hour just to catch-up on what I missed this morning!

Megan Nicole WOW you are having a BAD day. I tell ya when one thing goes wrong it all seems too. I hope that things are getting better for you today. And I hear you about this heat. It is way to hot for me. I have to say I have never really been the sunbathing type but my son LOVES to be out in the pool so I have started to enjoy it again. I am starting to get tan for the first time in a long time, or should I say a tan that isn't fake...LOL
