Hi dcorn!
Sorry it took me a while to get to answer this post but I find it fasinating. I have an ex from H^LL also. Luckily we had no children so there are NO ties to him at all. Back then I would have liked to have tied his sorry butt with a rope to my car bumper and pull him up and down a gravel road a few times. *LOL* You know, a little gravel rash. Naaa, he deserved much worse. Anyway I didn't even know he had a girlfriend till she got pregnant. Geez...I guess you don't pick up on things when you are working 3 jobs to support you both. ANYWAY, *LMAO* The big dummy moved to GA to live with her. Well if he had stayed in NC the law is 50/50 as far as deviding assets and he would have got half of everything. BUT in GA, they really frown on adultery and they hung his butt out to dry. Since he became a resident down in GA I was able to move my divorce case there. Even with no kids I got 1 year alimony, our new just built home and 12 acres of mountain top land AND he had to pay off all bills. The look on his face when the judge told him that was all the justice I needed. That was in 1999 and I bet you his jaw is still on the floor from the shock of it all. Whenever I need a good laugh I just think about that day in court and LOLOLOL.

Yes I am remarried now. Found a real good one this time. I guess it is true you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince. Just hate I invested 10 years with the "BIG DUMMY"...*L*

i to invested 7 years into a big dummy.(my ex) I ALSO FOUND MY PRINCE! we went to school together , we passed each other in the halls not knowing that GOD created us for each other. we finally got that chance on jan,28th 2006. got married on dec. 2nd, 2006 had our pricness on dec.27th 2007.

That is awesome!!! I met mine at a Halloween party 6 months after my divorce was final. My friend drug me there against my will. He had just moved to NC from Birmingham and his sister drug him there. Neither of us was looking but we both found. That was 2000 and we have been together ever since. He is everything I could have dreamed of.

Dcorn, first, if your lawyers won't listen, get new lawyers. There are some wonderful custody attorneys out there who will listen. Secondly, take heart in the knowledge that you are not alone. The only thing I can say about my ex is thank God we didn't have kids together. He's a cheater, a liar, and the biggest egomaniac on the planet. I was his first wife, his second was the loveliest sweetest person but is now the second ex, and his third is probably being cheated on too. Take heart also in knowing you will find the right one. I swore up down left and right that I was through with marriage and have now been happily married with a beautiful ll-year old for l6 years.

thank you for the advice! i have found my soulmate ! we have been married for an year and have a 5 month old girl.

I think that this is a club that I could join. My ex was a real a@@! He would get mad and hit me and I was dumb enough to stay with him and the Really stupid thing was that I never called the cops on him! If I would have done it just once, it would be so easy for me NOT to allow my daughter to be with him at all. As it is she is gone for 9 weeks this summer visiting him in a different state! I get so nervouse about that!
