I was talked into going to up the Tower of America  . When I saw a six year old with her teddy bear, I felt at ease  . The elevator is outside of the tower and it is 750 feet tall, straight up! We got up to the top and restaurant revolves. If you ever make it there, make sure you tour the tour and the 3-D theater.We had Margarita's non-stop, Saturday through Wednesday night. Frozen ones were so good . My last Margarita was made from the bar at Holiday Inn, no Express  , 32 oz, man that was some drink. Slept really good.lisa, baby J is growing so fast, seems like you just had him. Good luck on your two surgeries. pipps, girl, thanks for keeping the ladies informed. dakota, how's mommy? hope all is well on your side of country. cari, still in love? Enjoy your love with your new man. girly, Hey...sorry to hear about the job situation. something else will come along. tuf/bonb, you guys are probably on your journey's this weekend or week. Be safe. cheryl(gypsy), hey little momma, hope all is well in your world. ryno, whats up in swamp land  . kitty kitty, hope your doing ok and resting. carmelRose, missed you girl. suchi/bogey, HI ladies .sandee1977,soapyfriend and all you are a funny group of ladies. phoneix, you doing ok in school? Sounds like you enjoyed yourself on your "business" trip, glad you're home safe and sound. The margarita's were sure sounding good! I will get a mass email out to everyone but for some reason, I have been having trouble with my mail on outlook express and it had to get fixed for the fourth time.  Hi Denise, I'll update my address book and maybe try a test run to be sure. No big deal about the job; interesting thing as I'm finding out, it was down to me being one of two candidates in the last round of interviews and apparently the young guy they hired isn't working out at all. The HR person who hired him says "I was afraid of that"....hmmm what was your first clue, but yet you still hired him!!! So, whatever, life is interesting sometimes. You and your mom continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Cindy |

I'm sure salary had much to do with the hiring decision, age probably had equally as much to do with it although they could never admit to either. It's just interesting how things unfold sometimes. Quote Bogey0215: Hi Ladies! TGIF!!!!Luvda - Welcome back. You were missed. I could use one of those margaritas today. Well maybe in a few hours. It is only 9:30 a.m. here. I had a somewhat interesting night last night. A friend of mine, who is 98 years young, fell last night and hit his head. No major damage. Just a couple stiches and lots of bumps and bruises. He doesn't have any family around and his girlfriend was recently placed in a nursing home out of the area, so my sister and I met him at the ER and sat with him til he was released. I didn't get to sleep til about 2:30 a.m. and up again at 6:30 so I am one tired pup today. He is a very interesting man. Used to play major league baseball back in 1930's and football also. He still drives himself around and lives alone. I can tell he has a bit of dementia coming on. He keeps telling me he wished he was 23 again so we could get married. I have to keep telling him that 23 is a bit too young for me! Awww, you were placed at the right place and time for this fella. God places his angels around . Have a good day today.Girl, I was telling bonb that I didn't even miss watching the soaps. I was able to watch on Wednesday and got up last night. I told Bonnie I was out of body and mind from this place and didn't miss it, it surprised even me .Hey Girly, sorry to hear about the job situation. That's something else. I hope they suffer for what they got. They must have thought he was full of life because he's young. We are not old, just seasoned. Don't know why some manager's do what they do in the hiring process. Love/hugs to ya! Cindy |

I thought you were in your early 20's too for some reason---maybe I'm a little "touched" too!
