Glad everything is fine. ryno, glad you have weathered the storm. the months of August and September seemed to be some crazy hurricane months, from the water being heated. looks like there are 3 more on the horizon, but they look like they are headed towards some parts of FL and the east coast. I'm worried about Joretta, heard on the news about them having so much rain headed towards her way, and possible tornadoes. Pray for her. Bonb, don't know where you are, hope you're doing fine. Thoughts of You, Cindy Hi Luvda/Cindy and all the other ladies. Things have been bad here for a while. Hubby had some bleeding and is diabetic, and was prepping for a colonoscopy on Fri morning and Thur nite about 11 he asked me to take him to the ER. He was weak and dizzy from the prepping, and when they got him checked in, his blood sugar was 40, normally about 120, his blood count down to almost 8 and should be 10 for men. They gave him an ekg, took 3 vials of blood and decided to admit him about 1:00am. Stayed with him til about 1:30am and came home and was back at 6a.m. They did the "oscopy" about 7:30 and no sign of polyps or cancer. Does have diverticula which we knew from 2 yrs ago. They gave him 2 units of blood during Fri night and 2 more units on Sunday afternoon. I was able to bring him home Mon morning. Dumma, take note.....I stayed with him from morn til about 7/7:30 at night. He's my life and I wanted to be there:-) Did not watch any epis last wk or today. Have been reading the recaps and trying to catch up on the posts. Too tired mentally to post, but thot I would let you guys know where I've been. For all of you in the path of the bad weather, prayers and hope the others turn out to the ocean. Talked to daughter in Charleston, SC tonight and they are preparing for this weekend:-( For all that are having problems of other kinds besides the weather, hope that things are better or all taken care of. Quote gypsymama: evenin my favorite sisters..... thanx to you for your well wishes. we got back home last night bout 6 p.m. we were drained!!!!! we had a bar-b-que sat. with my honeynut bears mama, his sister and husband, and his brother with his wife. jas came for spell but had to leave as his back was botherin him. we learned there was a mandatory evac and i got on line real quick like to get me a room for at least a couple of days. we were gonna leave sun. morn round 1, but went ahead and left round 9 sat. instead. what is normally a 5 -5 1/2 hr drive, turned into a 9 hr. drive. we got to the hotel round 6 sunday morn. our room wasn't ready yet but my honeynut bear did what he does best when worn out.... he told the manager we were on the road for 9 hrs  and that he was up for the past 32 hrs., which really he was. there was a sign on the door that said no vacantcies.... he said he'd sleep in the laundry room if necesssary. she was able to find us a room. we were exhausted. sun. morn when we got up, could not find out the first thing about the shape our area(texas) was in, all they talked about was louisiana. every channel we turned to was louisiana this and louisiana that. we decided to get out of the room for a while so we went to the riverwalk, the alamo and market square. bryan called someone he works with that lives here(they did not leave) and learned that we were spared. other then havin a curfew from dusk to dawn, all was fine. we packed our things up and left round 2 and got home round 6. i learned that i don't go back to school till thursday. i told my honeynut bear he could take an x-tra day and go back to work wed. he smiled at me and said thanx baby.  jas called me late this morn and said he and elizabeth got back round 10 today. i was happy they made it safely. wooooo...... looks like i really ranted on huh!? lisa... it won't be long, just keep tellin your prescious daughter that she will be mama's helper with the baby. ryno.... stay dry tuf/linda... thanx for your encouragin words afore i left will talk to y'all in the morn. my honeynut bear is callin...he's lonely, wants me to come to bed.  will talk to you all in the morn. a huge shoutout and wave to all of me sisters even tho i did not call you out. you are the best and don't ever let anyone tell you different. laters love, cheryl/gypsymama I'm so glad that you are doing okay! I asked about you in the lung cancer thread, as I see you have stopped by before evacuating. Thanks for always keeping the candles lit. Tuf and Ryno...I see you now in both places. I got a kick out of the advice to juliet. My husband has a joke about this one. He says when a male child is born they spend the rest of their lives trying to figure how to get back in there. Boy, he is something with that humor of his.  juliet... I hope the next time you post it will be that your son is born and your daughter is doing well. Pippo.. Good Morning. I read that it is one year since you lost your mom. I hope that you are doing well since I know the anniversary of my dad's death leaves me in a reflective state every year.  Bonnie.. Oh no!! You are really going through alot of stress with your hubby. I hope the doctors get him better soon.  Luvda...You are always so kind and thoughtful to everyone on the board. I heard from outland that she is taking her big test today and pray that she passes with flying colors. Bogey... This is a stressful week for my husband too as school is in session again today. Ryno, Hubby is feeling better today:-) He mowed the yard yesterday and shouldn't have done it all in one day. As our mower is old and the self-propelled part doesn't work right, he won't let me mow. He over did it and agreed with me that he should have done 1/2 and 1/2!!! I finished my physical therapy today:-) My knee isn't completely well yet, but much, much better. I'm wondering why you think of me when you iron?? If I've mentioned anything about ironing, I don't remember??? Hope all you wonderful ladies have a great day. I'm still having trouble remembering everyone and their specific problems/needs, so hope all is well/better with each of you and your families. BonB |

All though my Labor day weekend was out of this world In between the margaritas I would tune in the blue tube to see the status of the hurricane, thoughts and prayers to all affected, which is really easy to say and mean it in particular, Ryno/ Tuff/Gypsmama. My brother lives in Polk county, Winter Haven and he go alot of rain and wind damage, power failure with Fay. Just keeping an eye on Hannna, we may get a pour down by friday, the other two Ike and Joseph ( I think thats their names) so lets see what give with them!! love to all cari/ Daphne cari, i live in highlands county, the next county down from polk county. winter haven is apx 30 miles from me. oh, we got a lot of rain from fay. we hade strong winds and rain for two days..thought i would loose my mind! now, well, on this sandy soil, i will have run sprinkers tonite. i bet ryno is tired of the rain out her way! tuff/linda |

She sends me crazy emails like cheryl all the time and I appreciate them, may not respond back to them, but I do read. 2002 was a very bad personal year for me. I finally washed it all away in 2006. I went to Hell and back and dusted myself off and onward I went and never looked back. So everyone, I do pray for you; I may say to myself, Ooops! I forgot to pray for my soap family Love you all.
