well, i know from experience that september is a very good month for a joshua.

my red headed blue eyed grandson named joshua was born on september 9th. he will be five years old this year.

handsome young men born named joshua are born in september for sure

Hey Girl,

Was just thinking about you, I try to check in at least once in a blue moon. Don't know which chick category I fall into, maybe the crazy chick one since I've felt pulled in all kinds of direction...what a week!!! Talk to Dakota, she can give you a few details; just some devastating family stuff going on. Imagine all she's going through, yet has the time to comfort everyone else!!!

Something good that happened during this very hectic week is that I have a job interview at 3:00 this afternoon in a different area of the medical center. I'm excited, somewhat nervous, yet ready for a change all at the same time!!!

Hope you're well. I take it, no baby arrival for Lisa yet?

Thoughts and prayers out to all those in the path of another hurricane, wonder where this weather came from all of a sudden and to all those with health problems, take care of yourselves and get well soon!!

College football starting tomorrow...Go Buckeyes!!!

It seems as though Gustav will be here on Tuesday Morning. We will be to the east and expect about 4" of rain. I hope that is all. The state has been evacuating all of the foster children from the coast. My brother-in-law is with the National Guard and he has been called up and is now on the coast helping with the evacuation. They are telling people GO! You wouldn't have to tell me twice! Not even once now! I'm going to the store tomorrow to "top off" my rations, especially water. I'm very paranoid of running out of water. I know there are no more batteries in town and I've heard, very little bread. Maybe I'll get creative and make some to work off the nervous energy. They haven't decided what to do about work. My husband works at the hospital and they have talked to him about staying over. The Hospital is even having a Day Care for the employees children.....My cousin on the coast will stay at his Hospital.....No way man, I would have to find another job if its cleaning the latrine at the 7-11! I'm rambling now....sorry I'll chat with ya later!

this hurricane stuff is terrifying!!!

gustav is still on the bottom side of cuba and here in florida, we have had rain on and off all day. sometime, pretty heavy rains. key west and cuba are only ninety miles apart.

and the we got miss hanna, which just keep rambling. the weather forecasters in tampa state that they believe hanna will move into the gulf of mexico. either way florida is screwed. history says it won't follow the same path as gustav because gustav would have drawn all the warm water in its path for forward strength, therefore, hanna would have to go more easterly or go west to mexico. i hope it goes to cancun! i know that is terrible of me; just being truthful.

if they ever tell me there is a cat 3 or stronger hurricane on either coast parallel with me...i'm leaving. i will settle with state farm when i get back. i'd be in maggie valley, n.c. so fast!

now i'm rambling....is gypsy okay in texas

A shout out to all my girlfriends......
it was a long first week of school. i'm sure your all aware of whats goin on out in the gulf ..... there is a mandatory evacuation in my part of southeast texas . bryan is makin reservations as i write to you all. goin to leave round 1 a.m., as they have set a 6:00 a.m. deadline to leave. am gettin last min. clothes washed up. were told to be gone for bout 5 days, but, my honeynut bear will not be able to take not knowin what's goin on. please pray for our journey, as well as everyone else. i will not be able to lite my candles everday for you, but will get back to it. y'all take care of dakota and juliet... i know there are many more of you to name, but got to go get me a shower. love to you all until next time.

Tuffy-
I don't have to worry about loosing my mind, I have already done that. Instead of getting the shelter assignments Thursday or Friday they waited until today and the other division director just can't seem to find her workers (she has 25 to our I'm really glad I don't live in Cuba! Is there anything left? I have been cooking up a storm to get rid of some of our food in case the lights go out we won't loose so much. I would hate to loose my meat and all the veggies and fruits that I worked so hard to put up this summer! I have to go work in the shelter tomorrow from 6pm to midnight checking in refugees. They are telling people to get the heck out of Dodge on the coastal areas. My rocket scientist brother decided that perhaps he should leave.

Oh, my girls, I cannot tell you how I've missed you!!!
I'm still in the middle of a huge mess in the city with the water plant project, and the other organization that I head up is in litigation, so I've just about had all the grief I can handle.

Just found out youngest grandson is Autistic, husband is in the middle of some sort of deal that I'm not ready to talk about, and the phone is ringing right now.

I promise that I will be back soon - I loves ya all!!!!!1

Evening All:
Gustav is supposed to be in my area Monday Afternoon/Evening Tuesday Morning, according to the weatherman, I hope he will be gentle, but I know he is no stormy! They are starting the contra-flow at 4:00 am here.....I guess that means I won't be able to keep my Dr. appt. Tuesday to hopefully get some hormones before I melt away like the wicked witch of the west!
