I want my life back!!! I am scard seeing the cost of everything going up and not being able to help Danny out financially. He doesn't complain but I can see he tries to work side jobs or take overtime when it is available. Dakota- Gee Wiz -3 jobs..7 days a week! Heck Fire! You wore your butt out! Think of this as a Vacation....You helped him out and now its his turn. As long as you have food, shelter, clothing (doesn't have to be designer!) you can make it!   You needed this time to take care of your Momma, there is no way you could have juggled several jobs, Hearth and Home and your Momma. When one door closes, another one opens. You just need a flash light to keep from bumping into the walls. Think of all the good that you have done, Your thread here and on another site! and I'm sure there are a multitude of other things you do that are meaningful that you don't even consider. Just go love on that dear sweet puppy dog and he'll show you about what is important in life!!!!

Our big scare is the West Nile Virus. That is really a horrific disease.....Is there a vaccine for that as well? |

That is really a horrific disease.....Is there a vaccine for that as well? ryno, as far as i know the vaccine is for lyme disease only. it has been around for 8-10? years. i never knew it existed until the chaplain at the hospital i used to work became infected with lyme disease. everybody medical started researching the disease because they didn't know too much about it; that is when we were told about the vaccine and what group of people would be at greatest risk. linda |

He doesn't complain but I can see he tries to work side jobs or take overtime when it is available. dakota; on this site we are women who have been blessed enough to connect with some remarkable women ie: sisters of life. we are wonderfully different but put side by side, make a beautiful bonquet. i understand what you are going through. i really do, i'm not kidding. i have meniere's disease of the inner ear. i have the disease in both ears. i have had several surgical procedure; two in the pass year. i have 40% of my hearing left. i can become dizzy at any time and sometime, i don't leave the house for several day due to uneven balance. i have been blessed. i am on disability and receive a check plus medicare. however, when you have worked hard all your life to become good at what you do, and you are finally making good money, then suddenly its all gone. you are thankful for your security check but it is pentence to what you used to make. i have watched my husband carry us through some really hard times. you see, my daughter is divorced with two small children and not getting any child support; so my husband carries us and he carries them. i pray over him every night. dakota, another thing you probably are also missing the friendship you had at your various jobs. i worked in a hospital for twenty five years. i was used being around so many people from all educational backgrounds. it was fasinating. to just sitting home and not talking to a sole beside by family for a week at a time. it is so hard. my email is listed. i'll do whatever i can to help your through this valley. linda |

Glad you're still thinking about me!! I can laugh about that trampoline incident now, but at the time, was embarrassing and painful!! Are the foot problems contagious on this site!!! I did something to my right foot, either playing tennis or later in the day washing my vehicle on Friday. It's not swollen but the arch of my foot is quite painful to walk on and I have pain radiating up to my ankle and back of my lower leg. I either strained a muscle or bruised it. If it was swollen, then I'd be worried. I have this roll on gel that relieves it somewhat and I took Advil once I got to work this morning, trying to stay off of it as much as I can today, kinda hard at work. Hope everyone is well. Has Lisa had her baby yet? Been mad busy recently at work, socially and personally. Cin, spent the day in court with the bro on Thursday, that mess is finally, finally over!!! She got a little money but nothing nearly what she thought she was entitled to, which will be spent in record time!! Just thankful there were no children involved in this nightmare!! Her only concern on Thursday was how fast the check could get cut!!! A real piece of work that one is. Uneventful episodes recently, too predictable. However, I really did enjoy Friday's!!! SF back and telling like it is!!! The show has not been the same without her. Love Rynomom's comments, right on the mark!!! Pipps, cari- Love the dinner ideas, I always know where to come when I'm in a rut, always love the ideas. I go in my kitchen some nights, look around the cupboards and pantry and walk right back out!!! Thoughts and prayers out to all those under the weather, hope you get to feeling better soon.
