I had to start the antibiotics last night. I never feel well on antibiotics but I take yougart cultures. I didn't even know that I had it. I did have two bouts of fever,chills and the shakes and I was concerned it might be lyme. I live in such a lyme prevalent area. The dog is always with me and I go out to the garden alot...ah who knows?  I try to post about my mom in the lung cancer thread so that I don't have to keep retyping it on different boards. Thanks for asking about me.  I am not supposed to be in the sun because of the medicine or I could get a severe sunburn.

I am not supposed to be in the sun because of the medicine or I could get a severe sunburn. listen lady, you are worn down in body and spirit right now. please try to get some rest and sleep. lyme disease is from ticks. i know it is predominantly in the wooded areas in florida. a friend of mine's husband contracted it via a tick while out hunting. chaplain at the hospital i know contracted while walking and looking at property he wanted to buy in north georgia. this disease can be very serious. don't take any change in symptom for granted and notify your doctor of any and everything. sorry, but i worked in a hospital for twenty five years and i don't like the havoc this disease can cause. i will be lifting you and your mother up in prayer. linda |

Supposedly, the Western Blot came back negative.  My brain is tired from all these stupid pills. I can't even type clearly tonight. I am having trouble concentrating and spelling.  dakota, i remember a positive igg is more indicative if long term stage of lyme disease. headaches and so called brain fog; not being able to think clearly are both symptoms of lyme disease. get more testing from a neurologist if you feel worse or have any questions. don't wait....please linda linda |

We are still having "homework hell" The worst night is Thursday night, He has to write 20 spelling words 2 times every night, the next night & the nights after he has to read a story page, then the next night and the others after her has to read a book, then he has to read a list of 200 words a 2nd grader needs to know, the next night he has to write the words in ABC order then he has to read a story plus math work and Thursday night he has to do everything plus sentences using the 20 spelling words. We are all learning the true meaning of TGIF! He cries, we cry, I told him that some parents don't care about whether or not their kids do well in school. He asked where those parents live! |

Quote gypsymama: rain, rain, and more rain...... mornin everyone 5:32 is the time, and am gettin me honeynut bear ready for work. we have more rain comin 50-60% more  a lot of flooding. got 4-6 in of rain in this area. tuf... my foot was very sore yesterday, have been doin a lot of walking this week. i told my boss yesterday there was no way in hell i'm goin to the welcome back to school, district meetin this am. school officially starts Mon. the 25th. i go back to the doc(25th) to get an update on me foot. ladies do have a wonderful and dry day. will be back this eve. laters Cheryl Chery- You and Tuffy are ganging up on me and sending me rain from both ways! Please forward it to California- those cats need cooling off! Hope your tootsies are doing better. I went to my doc today....I am now having problems with my Rotar Cuff in my shoulder, I start Physical therapy Monday! Yee Ha! |

He asked where those parents live! hey ryno, my daughter is a high school english teacher (15years). my grandson is in the first grade. he hates homework; starting getting it in kindergarden last year. in florida we have this real suck program. a child not only must pass to go from grade to grade but at intervals must pass the FCAT to go to the next grade. example: a child passes at the grade criteria to go to the fourth grade. well, if he didn't pass the FCAT given to all third graders; he has to repeat the third grade again. this FCAT is given at different grade levels right up to seniors. i have heard my daughter talking about senior passing all their classes but could not graduate because they didn't pass the FCAT. you read newspaper articles of parents going to school swinging a baseball bat and wonder why. i tell you why, because by the time you get these little darlings through school you are two days from insane!!! |

It is to always be used for you and you alone, You don't bail ANYONE else out with it and you don't pay any utilities (unless it is for new digs) If you take from it, you must replace it quickly....You never know when a MAD occasion will come up! This was taught to me by by Irish Grandma who learned it from her Mom and My Mom always reminds me to keep my stash! and Hubby, dear as he can be, does not know!
