Her kids turned out better than if he had been around because they learned to work for what you get and be proud of it. ryno, in florida visitation and child support are not tied together. meaning a dead beat dad is still entitled to his full visitation privileges. can any one make any sense out of that law for me  we've helped our daughter get restricted supervised visitation for now. if i think about all of these for too long.....well....lets just say i would like to make some lemon bars for my daughters ex and serve them with gin  linda I don't know about FL, but in MS if you have a psychologist and other documentation from other professionals (teacher,etc.) you can block the visitation. I would keep a log book (like a ring binder notebook) and document each contact (phone call, note, present, face to face) of Dad & other paternal relatives and how the child reacts to the visits (happy, glad, sad, apprehensive, "Who the heck is this guy?") then you will also have some other info when you go to court. One of my Attorney friends always says the one with the most documentation wins.....Also be careful and not to say anything in front of the children because it can be later reported that you were trying to sway their feelings...... sorry you and your daughter are having those problems. ryno, my foot is hurting. i had to be on it too much getting ready for this tropical storm and then during the storm with my two grandsons here. it is swollen and i have tried to be a good girl and stay off of today. but i am a doer. i can't just seat and look at a dirty house and know i have laundry to do. i know....anal personality. can't be still or relax until everything is done. i must seek professional help to break this pattern. |

I threaten it and tell it one fine day, to the moon! I cleaned it out last month and it is full of crap again, go figuire. My conclusion is junk is worse than Roaches - you can't get rid of it! Put your tootsies on ice and write the alphabet in the air with your foot, then point your toe for a count to 10 then pull your foot back towards your ankle and count to 10. Do the point/pulls about 10 times. Then roatate your foot about 10 times each...This is supposed to stretch those muscles in your toes.....Good Luck! |

BE HAPPY  When I left my first hubby after 26 years, (lived in another bedroom the last year), finally divorced him after another year (at 27 yrs) and my younger son said "Mom, you should have left Dad years ago" The older son kept trying to get me to go back, and HE was the one that suffered the most from his Dad's bad moods.I was NEVER getting married again, but here I am, with us being married 21 1/2 years. Life can be wunnnerfullll  But sometimes I wish I had that lemon bars/gin recipe for my old fart...and he feels the same about me. We get over it.
