Just limbs down, power out, roofs blown off, that kinda stuff. Sure didn't do us any favors!  Sigh... Hey Samsgram, Our weatherman said that we may get some storms from Iowa in the morning around 2 or 3. Not going to hold my breath. He's been predicting heavy rains, wind gusts up to 80miles and we haven't seen a drop. They had skirted up the east and I think the ones from Iowa are heading southeast and may clip my area and head a little towards the south of town. Was the surgery successful for your child, did the one move out or did the weather hamper that? Those tornadoes are something else. I hope that I never have to experience that ever in my lifetime. We couldn't get anyone on a Sunday to come out but we have a guy out here now and I hope he gets us back up and running real soon. Things aren't well...without the well.  We are coping but I can't wait for a shower and to clean the messy kitchen of dirty dishes.  I hope everyone else is having a better day then me. To add insult to injury we lost power for 4 hours last night so no a/c as well. The key word of the day....COPE!!  Mom is going for round three of chemo beginning today. That almost reminds me of Katrina, Just get paper plates and lots of wet ones and Right Guard! Hope that you can solve your Utility revolt soon! Maybe you can 1. go to a Holiday Inn Express or 2. Gee- I thought that the 100 degree weather was bad! My only calamity is that we have some wasp nests by our front door and back door. We had another by a window but I sprayed them.....Now the other colonies kind of watch me funny. I think they know that I annihilated their cousins....I got the one by the back door today but ran out of spray. I put up a sign that says "Beware of Wasps" My nosy neighbor lady (we call her Gladys Crabbits behind her back) wanted to know what I had against WASPS. She thought I was making a slur...... |

Quote caribean: Well ladies, We came in third place at our softball play-offs 1st game 27-8 2nd game 24-11 third game we lost 11-19 fourth game we lost 14-19 I made a couple of singles, doubles and several runs, and even walked to first and had a hitter run us in, yeah!!!!! It was fun and I can't wait till next season. only had a small knee injury, but that didn't bother me as much as the HEAT!, once in a while the Good Man would throw us a breeze even under the sun it was a blessing, most of us were prepare for the elements , but , we all took care of them... It was fun an thought i would chare with ya.. Yess Outland made a run in foor you and the Ladies and the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You do really enjoy it, and I enjoy reading your reports. I miss having all those competitive good times, but Have made Mannnny other grand memories through the years. Spent my weekend with a really bad flare-up of colitis.. lots of blood etc. so went to the dr today(Monday). Now I will have to be on a bland diet ... the dr said I could bring my lasagna and 5-cheese bread to him and he would take care of it for me.  My retired-nurse neighbor told me I was probably stressed out because of Blue's illness, so my hubby is having to deal with the ladies in his life being under-the-weather. Would someone please send the miracle dr. budgie to my house because we need some really serious dr'ing.  Luvda I absolutely cracked up at your joke..lmao NEEDED THAT love ya'all Joretta
