bogey, im sure that there is a walmart right next to a starbucks by you.....in the lotion aisle, in a little green box there is a product called "bag balm"......rub bogeys feet with it, and your hands and anything else......

farmers in vt use it for the cows to keep there teets moist and healthy.....great stuff.....

it is miserable here in ny......it's 92 and sooooo humid that my arms are sticking to my desk as i type....yuck

Thanks for the Blue prayers. She has a kidney infection..the dr gave us antibiotics for that. He says that she should be much much improved in ten days.
She has some kind of rocks mass in her intestine...I guess dogs will eat rocks and then cannot pass them on through. Other animals do that also... cows, horses, etc. That is not her pain problem tho. The x-rays showed some severe crumbling in her spine. We can only give her pain meds for that. But Rod and I use DMSO for my sciatica and his arthritic problems, so I will start putting some on her back. He gave us a chewable that should help tighten up her sphincter muscles so she can control her urine. They had her for 24 hours, (put her to sleep for the exam which was painful to her) and we see a noticeable difference already. No puddles every time she lays down.
Thunder and Tinker were really happy to have her home..just bouncing around and smelling her all over from head to tail. We are a happy family again.

Hope everyone is doing well.....I kept watching Pammy making those Lemon Squares and had to make me some....I'm munching on one now! They are heavenly.....I may have to buy an up-size with my clothes though!

For All who are interested -----
Lemon Squares
INGREDIENTS
• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
• 2 cups white sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 lemon
• 6 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
• 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (160 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
2. To make crust: In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter, 2 cups of the flour, and confectioners' sugar until fluffy. Scrape mixture into the pan and smooth. Bake 15 minutes.
3. In a medium bowl, beat the eggs and sugar. Grate the rind of the lemon and add the rind, along with 6 tablespoons of lemon juice, to the egg mixture. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of flour and the baking powder over the mixture. Fold in the nuts and mix until well blended. Pour the lemon mixture into the crust.
4. Bake for another 35 minutes, until filling is set. Let cool before cutting.

I made a couple of singles, doubles and several runs, and even walked to first and had a hitter run us in, yeah!!!!!

It was fun and I can't wait till next season.

only had a small knee injury, but that didn't bother me as much as the HEAT!, once in a while the Good Man would throw us a breeze even under the sun it was a blessing, most of us were prepare for the elements , but , we all took care of them... It was fun an thought i would chare with ya..
