I've been sooo busy for a retired person - then yesterday our 12-year old Blue (the Aussie shepherd) was leaving a puddle of water wherever she lay down. She has been painful in her rear parts for quite some time and has a hard time going up and down stairs..has not been able to jump into or out of the car for several months.
Anyhow the vet just called me and said her kidney problem can probably be treated, but is keeping her overnight to get x-rays to see whatever else might be wrong and whether he can help her.
We live in a trailer, not in a trailer park, and we DO have a pit bull. Weighs somewhere around 80 pounds and we have had him since he was only 5 pounds. (we've had Blue since she was a baby, too) We have fenced in the back yard - about 1/2 acre - so Blue and Thunder have a big place to play and run around. They really enjoy each other.
We are just hoping and praying that Blue can be fixed up and be around for quite a few years longer - Thunder was soooo upset when we came back home and Blue not with us. He's lying on the floor here beside me.
Please, I would appreciate a prayer from all you good ladies because I know prayer works. Will let you know tomorrow what Dr. Stone says. She's my baby and I have tears running now for her.
Sooooo plese you all say a prayer for our sweet Blue.
