my hubby's mother & my best friend carrie are planning it for me with my input were having it at my house so i'm getting the place ready. were expecting 30 plus people.

they decided to have it for me i pick out what i want for food , invitations, place settings etc. they are taking care of the games & are buying the food & drinks for us.

Please pray for my mom. She has lung cancer and we aren't sure if it has reached her brain yet and won't know until next week.

Candy, my sweet adopted granddaughter, thank you for the kind words about the avatar. Yes, we are happy, but life is not always sweet like a box of chocolates. We have our problems, but we love each other so much that we talk it out and always reach and understanding and mutual agreement. Unlike my first marriage, when he had to have control of everything and I had no input at all. God actually blessed me that he had an affair, got her pregnant, and decided to marry her. Otherwise, I would not have found my now sweet hubby. If you just look, there are blessings in everything that happens to you. You might not be able to see it until further down the road, but keep your heart and your mind open for what He has in store for you. I am here for you as well, so keep the faith and look for the good in anything that comes your way. Love ya, girl.

Thanks for the sweet words about my new avatar. My granddaughter put it on for me to surprise me. She is the one that I keep most of the time. She is 14, but looks quite a but older, and she is one of the most loving and compasionate teenagers that I have met in a long time. She even texts me from school to make sure that me and my mom are ok, and to let me know that she is. We are best buds.
I won't be back today because I have two doctor's appts. for my mom, and then I have to keep two of my daughter's children tonight because the 9 year old has an awards banquette at school. I have a BIG day ahead of me but I just wanted to stop by and say hello and send you all hugs and blessings for whatever you have going on now.
I will try to stop by in the morning for updates on all of you, and, as I said before, God hears all our prayers, but when He gets so many constant prayers on the same thing, then (IMO) I know He has to look down and see what He can do to fix it. Dakota, He must be focusing on us right now.
Sorry to ramble, but I have to get started on today, and trying to get everything done as quickly as possible.
