Gas is outrageous everywhere. I have been taking the bus everywhere for two reasons, the gas prices and I have yet to put the down payment on the car I'm buying. I wonder if I even want a car with the crazy gas prices, but busses can be darn inconvenient sometimes.But I can get all the away across town for one dollar if I need too.

I'm hoping things get better for everyone on this board. Sounds like some are really having a hard time. Things are going really well for me right now. I will be moving at the end of the month if I haven't mentioned it before. I'm happy about it, but I hate packing.

Went to the IHL championship game 7 last night. Watched my Fort Wayne Komets beat the Port Huran Ice Hawks in triple overtime. I didn't get home until almost 1:00 in the morning. Not good on a work night, but I'm glad I went to the game.

Luvda we seem to miss each other on the B&B board. Hope I catch you there today.
We now pay R10 a litre for gas. If I convert R3.95$ into rands than it means you guys pay about R15 a litre .
That is unbelievable.

I work about 1hour 15 minutes away from work. Sometimes it takes me longer because of traffic.
Should have bought myself an automatic instead of a manuel (think you guys call it a shift stick)
Gypsy I agree there is nothing surprising about the episodes lately. Hope today's will be better.

See we are posting less these past few days. Hope you all get your health and personal issues sorted out. Remember God will not give you a cross you cannot carry.

Seems like we have slowed the board with comments. The storylines and then we are looked at and waiting to be pounced on for making a mistake may lead some to cool off from posting. We'll get are momentum back in the next few weeks as we get some interesting storylines.

Good morning friends!!

Quick note while I have a minute. Hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day. We celebrated on Saturday with my mom, the weather couldn't have been more beautiful for a cook out.

I am swamped at work with so much going on; I have been out ill with a flu virus, which started on Sunday, this is my first day back to work. I'm waiting to hear back from my doctor to get in and see her since my symptoms have not subsided. I'm living on 7-up and ice water the last few days. Got caught up on B&B, lame episodes the last couple of days!!!

Candy050- Honey, have I got stories to tell you about the soon to be ex-SIL!!! It's been wonderful to sit back and watch life finally catch up with her; I'll have to email you more about that later. I hope you're doing well and feeling better by now. My best to you and your family!

Luvda- BB10 starts July 13th, that'll give us some reality tv to talk about here shortly. Really thought that Amanda would win Survivor, hope things work out with her and Ozzie, he's a cutie!!

Somebody mentioned gas prices, we paid 3.89 to fill up yesterday since they said gas prices would increase by last evening. I refuse to pay $4 a gallon for gas, especially when they say a barrel of crude oil right now is the cheapest it's ever been, doesn't make sense.

Nanaof8- Glad to hear from you, my friend, we'll keep you and your family lifted up in prayer.

Gypsy- Good to see you posting, girlfriend, seems we're never on at the same time anymore. Hope all is well with you, keeping busy, no doubt with your hubby!!!

hope you all had a wonderful mother's day. i know i did took my mom out for dinner my daughter got me a shirt, pants, purse & wallet.

sorry i haven't been around lately have been busy doing things around the house getting ready for my baby shower.

were using my daughters old crib we got a mattress for it & a winnie the pooh crib set. of course she wasn't to happy about her crib being used but after we sat dwon & explained it to her she was alright with it.

i notice the board is low on posting not good hopefully it will pick back up. i'll try to get on when i can but can't make any promises to when.

Hi Juliet, and everyone, This must be an exciting time for you and family. I don't have any children, but have been watching Jon & Kate + 8 on the TLC channel. They had twin girls by invitro, and wanted one more, but got 6 instead!! 3 girls and 3 boys. The hubby is Korean and the wife Amer.
They are all precious. I just want to reach into the tv and grab some of them!!
You're right, our postings are down and Y & R's are up?!!
I don't post a lot because I am not as creative with my posts as all of you are:-( I just write what I think and think it is the same as most.
