Hey Suchi~~ You had asked where I live. I live in Maryland, I am 1 hour from D.C and 3 1/2 from Va. Beach & 3 1/2 hours from Ocean City, Maryland's beach front on the Eastern shore,We also have the Cheaapeak Bay that supply us with our famouse blue crabs and our oysters that are very good. Last years drought put a dammper on the quality of our crabs but not enought to spoil our harvest... We still were able to enjoy some good catches. This year with the prices of every thing going up our locales will still be able to supply well enough. To be a true Marylander that would not affect us to enjoy our crabs. Gotta have da crabs or you'll be crabby if you don't.

Inner Harbor in Baltimore is fantastic, but I prefer Inner Harbor Annapolis, great resturants and it's all in one days visit, Baltimore is a larger area, but for visiting the sights it's goood to go.

I bought a 94 lincoln Continetal, for $3,000 had it for 6 yaers put $8,000 into the car, all the parts were 3 years old before my accident,some one hit me at a stop sign, right on the drivers side, Nation Wd classifies it as a total, they wanted to give me $1,500 for it, I refused, the insur company can not make an offer without your approval. I sent them all the reciets of my newly bought parts and we nego a little and came to get #3,ooo and some change. Don't let them railrosd you.. Keep the fight right. Let them know of the inconvenience and the hard ship your going through,.

Dewebster,, hardship is common, it's not no lie, I bought my lincoln from the side of the road , bought and paid for ,, it was mine.. I feel you, Just becareful, with dealerships, they try to get you in and then you will not only have you pay out of you hiny, so look at the Blue book and do research, it helped me , I also got leagal advice (free) god blesss you and go luck, also look in the paper and compare prices...

Sorry for what you are going through, Dweb...looked in Kelley's Blue Book and it seemed for two to three thousand more dollars you might be able to get a 2004. I know that's not like a paid for car, but compared to what it could be...if you know what I mean!!!

Also, don't be afraid to look at new cars, with $5,000 down, some of the new car manufacturers are giving a great deal for financing...

I know, it's not what you needed right now, looking at retirement, but maybe the fact that you are working right now may help you finance where "not working" in a few months may have been detrimental should this have happened to you then...

Sorry I missed out last night. I must have had a 24hr virus going on or something.

POV/caribean, I hope Storme didn't venture out. He promised me that he would lay low. Well, to tell you the truth, Storme was helping me get over my virus, pulling the covers up for me, tucking me, taking my temperature making sure I had plenty of fluids

Its rainy here in my part of Ohio, cool outside and cold in this office the sun is supposed to peek out sometime during the day and temps are going to reach in the low 60s.
