nanaof8: I know what you mean about the DAYS board. I know who to respond to pretty much and I always give people a chance. If they are nasty to me and I try again and they are still nasty...then I stop bothering w/them. I refuse to let anyone else steal my sunshine away!!!

Alice is gettin.... she was sick on Monday and still not feeling well on Tuesday so I'm hoping that she is just sick and not affected by what's happened. I know that her daughters and grandson are 1 1/2 hours away from her so hopefully they weren't either. I sent her a quick email to see if she's around but I also know she doesn't have internet at home. If I hear anything, I'll let ya know.

Girly, Dakota, Lady, Daisy, I just want to say what an honor it is to know all of you and to be considered a friend to such a caring and loving group of "lady warriors". You all make me and the ones that you post with feel so special and appreciated. You always take each problem to heart and think of the problems of the world and reflect on how we should appreciate what we have and think of the problems as if they are our own. That is the way we should all think and feel.

Sorry. I am just so overwhelmed and greatful that people like this DO exist in a world of hatred and destruction.

:) Good Morning Everyone, The sun is shinning here in Sunny California but there are those of you around the country that are having terrible weather. My prayers go out to all of you who live in those states where the tornado has hit.

Of course I don't know what I'm talking about. California has earth quakes just not in Sacramento where I live. San Francisco, about 85 miles away has been hit more than once.

I too love the B&B message board. It has given me the opportunity to meat some of the greatest ladies from around the country and abroad. Strangers one day and friends the next.

Most of you are lucky to have siblings. I am an only child. My mother, who died in 2001 was an only child and my fathers side of the family is huge, however, I never knew them so I sort of alone with the exception of my daughter and grandsons. So this really is a family to me. I can't thank you all enough for inviting me into this circle of friends.

I have seen pictures of Alice grandson. He is the cutest little blonde guy. She has every reason to be proud.
