Good morning ladies, hope everyone is well and your day is off to a great start!

dakota- I do read messages every morning and try to respond to all of them. My 51 year old brain does not work like it used to, I am a busy woman and get sidetracked easily, drinking too much coffee in the morning doesn't help matters either!!! Maybe because I shouldn't be drinking it in the first place, my doc would have a cow if she knew that!!!

Well, I think we're sending my daughter and her future husband to Mazatlán for their honeymoon, anyone ever been there? If this wedding doesn't put me in the poor house, I don't know what will!!!

Diane- I so envy you, at this rate, I'll be working til I'm 80 years old!!

Lisa- You're rollin' today on the board, glad you're feeling better. We didn't hear from Alice yesterday, she's in KY but I don't know what area. I hope she's ok and wasn't affected by the tornados.

Good morning Dakota, nanaof8, hope you ladies are well this morning.

We don't all frequent the same boards, but did anyone happen to catch the Y&R nastiness going on yesterday, I couldn't believe the language those people were using, downright vicious and offensive, my Lord, it's a soap board for crying out loud!!! It wasn't even about the show itself, they were lodging insults at each other!!!

I love the camaraderie we have here and on the board. The chit chat about nothing and then about things important is always so endearing!

Good Morning Ladies...

By the time I hit the Y&R board yesterday, all was deleted. I hate that crap. Months ago, BB board had some issues, but it's all better now. I think the biggest thing is, ignore idiots like that. They are there to get a rise out of you and see how you respond. Kill em with kindness or laugh about it; that's what I do. I figure they don't know me personally so they can have at it, I don't care.

My heart truly goes out to the people affected by the storms! I was reading online about the families that were killed, the people who didn't have enough warning or had nowhere to go. How sad. I complain about snow and it's nothing compared to what they went through or the people of New Orleans and Mississippi when they got hit with Hurricane Katrina. What 3 years later and they are still cleaning up. But they certainly cleaned up after 9/11 fast. I understand the differences but still, whether it's a terrorist act or mother nature, people still lost their lives and need to pick them back up - we should help everyone equally.

Ah, off my soap box again. I'm running to get another cup of coffee. The last one was mighty weak!

I hear you, Lisa, makes our minor fender benders over the last couple of weeks look pale in comparison. The tornados a couple of days ago and they're still finding bodies and the 20 inches of snow that parts of southern Wisconsin and Chicago got over night...I guess I'll stop complaining about my small mishaps!! Still wonder if Alice is ok, do you know where her grandson and his family are?

With heavy rains in Ohio, there's major flooding around the state, a repeat of what happened last summer in some towns that rarely have flooding. We're leaving to go up and visit my mother tomorrow and have to drive through some of those towns so I don't know what we'll be getting into once we're on the roads.

Coffee sounds good right now, be back later.

if feel good that you can get some thing off your chest. this car thing, is really throwing (us) me for a loop! the insurance doesn't cover the mechancial problems. it's actually the car key (sensor) simple right? NOT!! i could go on and on, it'll just cloud my thinking. anywho read all the comments this am... great stuff. don't know if i'll slide over today, just can't seem to get my mojo going .

daisy 671 and girly 51: Is Alice name gettin good? I know she has a grandson that she just visited and she hasn't posted in a day or two.

It is horrible to read about the midwest. I met a friend on the DAYS board that survived Hurricane Katrina and got her dogs to safety but lost her home. Her job rebuilt her home for her. There is nothing that anyone should ever take for granted because it could be lost in a heartbeat. She is a great person and I am glad that I met her and all of you!!
