Hey girls! I am back in cali now and trying to help my mom from a distance get things finalized. I sent an email to ya'all so be sure to check it out.

We got home Wednesday morning around 1am. Kaitlyn was a trooper and an awesome co-pilot helping me stay awake and pass the time. We were rockin' out to Hannah Montanna's GNO!!!

I've got quite a bit to do to keep me busy for the next few days but will try and check in periodically.

I thank you all for your thoughts and prayers over the past week (it seems like months). Knowing you were all there really helped pull me through. You guys are awesome!

Hey Girls ~~~~ Did anyone else watch Sarah Palin's speech last night? I so like this woman!! She has my vote! hehehe Also.....McCain!! Hanna is going up the Atlantic Seaboard! Florida may be passed up w/ her. Ike is a category 4 Hurricane, and we may have to really worry about his impact!

Wayne got his gallbladder results back today. They're referring him to a general surgeon for the abnormality the test showed!????? When I asked him if they planned on removing his gallbladder or if it's just exploratory, he said he didn't know. He didn't ask! WHAT THE MOP!!!! You never let someone cut on you without asking WHY!!! I understand this 'Privacy Act' was implemented for a reason, but darn! I want answers! Wayne is on his way home and I plan to have a 'discussion' about this! IF his doctor won't give me the answers, then Wayne had better start asking some questions! Gotta' go finish up his dinner. I had a craving for dressing and chicken for dinner. I can smell it cooking. I love Ya's, Susie

Wow Raggs you are alot more braver then I will ever be, I freaked out in the toke the cancer off of my face, (Be it I was awake through it.) I hope all of the places heal and do well, hang in there and God bless, and glad ya made it through the hurricanes.

susie - i know what you're talking about here! Men don't ask questions! You need to make sure he signs a release form with his doctor allowing you to obtain info from his medical records (this basically voids the privacy act).

Unfortunately, my hubby is the same way and I usually end up going to the doctor with him cus he can never make heads or tails out of what the doc says.

I want to give a big HUG and THANKS to MaryAnn & DM for all you guys did for me while I was in Arizona. I know you were there for me yet you laid back trying not to inundate me with text messages, phone calls and emails.

I found comfort in knowing you were there and that you guys were my link to the rest of the girls here sharing whatever information you could with them.

I believe the prayers you all said for me, my family and my brother were answered in the best way possible. He is at peace - out of that toxic body - and looking down on us watching over us.

Thanks again - you guys mean the world to me!!!

Hi Cali, I'm glad you made it home safely. I so wish I was there so I could give you a hug! It's a hard time in your life at the moment but time does heal...trust me! You'll never forget your brother and you'll always remember the things you shared together. Yes, he's a peace now!!

Maryann thank you for mentioning it as I was also going to remind everyone about the Stand Up For Cancer that is on tomorrow night. As you all know that I deal with it with my mother inlaw for 3yrs now so wouldn't it be wonderful if we could find a way to stop this terrible disease so that noone else has to go through this again. I know times are hard for alot of you but if you could donate even $10 it would make such a difference and all that money from just us would add up.Plus I also know alot of you who have had cancer and I am so happy that you are all doing well. Lets hope one day we can all " stand up" and beat this. Thanks for listening.

I had such a good day today. My best friend Sue came and got me and we went walking at the park here where everyone walks and it sits on the ocean so we get somewhat of a breeze since it was hot today in NY. It felt so good to walk and I have no idea how many miles we did but we walked a bit. I came home and felt good about it and myself. Now we are going again tomorrow and I am so looking forward to it. I am going to shed these damn pounds if it kills me. I have to look good in a pair of jeans when I see Steve Burton in October. Cali, a shirtless Jason is September 19th, mark the calander. Ok, husband is working late tonight, I can talk tonight if anyone is online late, just email me. Bye.

Good morning everyone. Just getting ready to take Damien to his second day of kindergarten. He really enjoyed his first day.

Gval how are you? It seems like forever since we were both around at the same time.
Okay, I have to go and get Damien dressed for the trip to school. It has been raining here for the last few days so we need to waterproof him or take a change of clothes. His is a typical kid. If there is a puddle he has to splash through it. LOL. Not bad if he doesn't give himself a bath at the same time.

"Howareya, howareya, howareya?", as the 'old Redhead', Arthur Godfrey, used to say. Most of you are too young to remember him. His tv show was one of the first ones I used to watch with my grandparents. We didn't have a tv at, first. Our neighbors, Mr.& Mrs.Ryder,
would have us over every week to watch 'The Arthur Godfrey Show' and 'Your Show of Shows'
with Sid Caeser, Imogene Coca, and Carl Reiner. Oh, what a pleasant memory that is.

Don't know where that came from this morning. LOL

The sun's shining right now, but 'Hanna' is coming up the East coast and will affect us all the way up to Boston by tomorrow. The weathermeisters have warned us to do our errands today and to make sure we have plenty of candles, batteries, water, etc. on hand. I just called in my med refills so I can pick them up this afternoon.

I'm bummed today! Tennis is preempting ALL of my soaps! How could they do that to us on a FRIDAY?!? Boo, hiss!
