Autnie, so glad you had a nice birthday. I usually buy my own cake and candles so don't feel bad. I spent the last day today with my kids at Applebees. Some lady came over to them and asked them if they were playing hookie. I felt like saying lady are you nuts? Anyway, I said no, we go to Catholic school and we start tomorrow. I have to get all their uniforms ready and the rest of their stuff. Joey had 3 books and 3 reports to do plus math pages. Michael had 2 books and 2 reports plus a report on the author and math pages to do. Tomorrow, I get my life back. I am starting my walking, diet, and going to fit into my clothes that are now tight all over again on me from the summer. I am determined to get myself in shape again. So like people have NEw Years resolutions, I have back to school resolution.Have a great night everyone, I probably won't be online after this. I also want to watch if I can that new 90210 show that is on tonight at 8pmEST on Ch. 11 here in NY. Have a good one everyone.

Hey Roe and NY ~~~~~ Mom's here in GA have been doing the 'Happy Dance' since August 11th!! We start earlier and end earlier!! hehehe I'm sorry......but I just don't miss those days! hehehe I was working full time when mine were going to school. I didn't think I'd ever survive the last one graduating!! hehehe I DID! And, now I'm helping w/ grandkids!!! hehehe

We didn't get ANYTHING but a nice breeze from Gustov! If Hannah stays on the path she's on......the East Coast could get alot of rain and wind. The Atlanta area may only get a breeze again!!!! It's too soon to tell about the other 2! We'll just have to wait and see.

Has anyone heard from Raggs or Rock? I'm sure they're fine. This is not an 'alert!' I just think about them and haven't seen any posts from them to assure us they're OK.

Gotta' run. Wayne is on his way home for dinner. I need to finish up. I love Ya's, Susie

Things are going good....health is better, but still have a way to go.....Robbie is loving 10th grade....even Crystal is starting to "come around".. ..for today, anyhow!!

good morning ladies, i know there is alot of happy moms in ny. because iam one of them. school is open and the kids are out of the house. i met my older son new girlfriend last night. she seems very nice but i will wait and see on that as time goes by. she is very pretty i think she is like a size 1. dm or maryanne please send me cali address. rock i am happy you are feeling good.

Good morning ladies, well I didn't do my happy dance, I did my happy walk. It's hot here today in NY and I was so sweaty afterwards, this weather is nutso. Both my kids were excited to go to school this morning until we got to the busstop and then they didn't want to go. I told them they will see all their friends. Michael is worried about his teacher since we didnt' hear anything nice about her, I told him, one day at a time. Joey was afraid of getting homework but I don't think they will on the first day or I will kill his teacher and I know her.They get out the rest of the week at 11am and still have to get in the shower. My son came home from school one day,
With a smirk upon his face.
He decided he was smart enough,
To put me in my place.

'Guess what I learned in Civics Two,
that's taught by Mr. Wright?
It's all about the laws today,
The 'Children's Bill of Rights.'

It says I need not clean my room,
Don't have to cut my hair
No one can tell me what to think,
Or speak, or what to wear.

I have freedom from religion,
And regardless what you say,
I don't have to bow my head,
And I sure don't have to pray.

I can wear earrings if I want,

I can read & watch just what I like,

Of course my first instinct was
To toss him out the door.
But the chance to teach him a lesson
Made me think a little more.

I mulled it over carefully,
I couldn't let this go.
A smile crept upon my face,
he's messing with a pro.

Next day I took him shopping
At the local Goodwill Store..
I told him, 'Pick out all you want,
there's shirts & pants galore.

I've called and checked with C.S.D .
Who said they didn't care
If I bought you K-Mart shoes
Instead of those Nike Airs.

I've canceled that appointment
To take your driver's test.
The C.S.D. Is unconcerned
So I'll decide what's best. '

I said 'No time to stop and eat,
Or pick up stuff to munch.
And tomorrow you can start to learn
To make your own sack lunch.

Just save the raging appetite,
And wait till dinner time.
We're having liver and onions,

He asked 'Can I please rent a movie,

I also rented out your room,
