ok now i am caught up so W H E R E is everyone. mary ann are you out and about already. it is 10:55am here. the storm is still pouring rain outside. i don't think the really bad stuff has hit yet. the eye is still over gainsville now. i should hear from gary around noon. we have one big oak tree that is leaning 1/2 over that is on our driveway. the roots are coming up. if it doesn't continue to fall it will have to be cut down. no one can pull their car through the driveway. all reports on animals are good. the boys have been out there all morning.

my aunts in jacksonville lost power around 3 am this morning. they say they are alright.s i will find something to keep me busy and i will check back later. hope all of yall have a great day. love, raggs

Hi Raggs!
This hot-air balloon is only temporarily in Central Park-they are celebrating it's 150 anniversary and today is the last day. Central Park is huge and yes, there are many trees , but there are also beautiful, gorgeous "open" area's like Bethesda Fountain-which is where I think the balloon is around, there's the lake where people can go out on row boats right off the Boat House restaurant and another pond where people bring their remote control sail boats and play there. There are many areas where people roller-blade and ride bikes. And of course, huge open grassy fields where there are concerts, games, etc.
About going up in the hot-air balloon-I'm right there with you! I'm scared just thinking of it, but excited to be able to experience something like this. It will be attached to a tether and can go no more than 300 ft. Yep, it's high, but I'm not looking down, just across. We're hoping to be up while the sun is setting. ANd it's a gorgeous day here in NY. I hope Fay passes you quickly and doesn't do to much harm. So crazy to see the varying weather conditions across our country.
I love how your hubby thinks! He thinks sweaty is sexy, and he's got a nice sweaty wife, perfect! See, even hubby is happy. Enjoy and don't forget to laugh. It is so good to see you posting! Where is Maryann? I know she's been watching the Olympics, and they even Bob Costas mentioned that alot of American viewers were complaining about the late coverage and difficulty w/lack of sleep. Hope you are doing ok.

Raggs, I answered your email this morning. Don't know if you've seen it yet. Glad you obviously haven't lost your power. You stay inside and away from that tree. I don't want Gary to come home and find a grease spot in the driveway that used to be YOU!

It must be somewhat comforting to have the guys there, if you need anything.

Where do your 'long-legged' birds stay? In the barn?

How are you coping with the neighbors' pigs? Are they inside or out in their pens?

Questions, questions! It just boggles my mind with all you have to deal with in a storm.

hi raggs and ny you girls still on? everyone talking about change of life. i was 47 when i saw my last period. one moth i had it the next it was gone for good and i dont miss it. i had hot flashs once in a while, but i didnt take anything pills i was lucky.

happy saturday to everyone. just a quick weather update from us in florida. we lost power around 11pm last night and it came back on at 5am this morning. it is starting to get daylight but it is still raining and the wind gust are pretty strong. gary says that the radar shows we are still gona get hit by it all day and all night. it has been raining since 6pm thursday night. we have lost one huge oak tree that is now laying across our driveway. we can drive through several pastures and we are able to get out back in the back.i probably won't be on much today but we will see.

ma, the pigs are still at the neighbors. we decided to keep them there. they should be home today and i will be glad to come "off duty" .

monday i go to the docs and they are gonna start on my face and try to go all the way down to my feet. i know of 11 that i assume he is talking off but i am sure that he will find more. i still have a total of 33 stitches on me, they all are itching this am. i hate seeing them in the mirror because i look 'CRATERED UP".

i found a new way to get to site, in case anyone is slow like me. where my addy is for this sight i just put a / and then add the page number i was last on. no more trying to hold down the clicker while it goes through the pafe numbers. did yall know that?? was i the only dummy about it? well i love it. my wrist and fingers love it to!

My goodness!! EVERYBODY was MIA last night! Auntiep was the last one to post yesterday around noon time.

Got an email from Raggs this morning. They're all ok but they're trying to clean up some of their storm mess and they lost power during the night until this morning. I'm sure she'll be on with a full report when she's able. Just thought I'd let you know she's alright.

NY, looks like a wonderful day for your balloon adventure. Since you said you'll be tethered, I might be brave enough to try it. I thought you were going to fly off over the city. This sounds much less scary. Have a great time!

Good morning everyone. Wasn't around yesterday, Michael had soccer practice and I just relaxed until later in the afternoon when I went to my sisters in NJ. They are having a county fair there so it was alot of fun. They had animals and rides, food, stuff like that and we had alot of fun. Joey loves petting all the animals and I took pictures. When Mike downloads them, I will send you all some. I am having Mike call an orthopedic surgeon in Manhaten this week, he has to have his arm checked the right way and make sure that all it is is tendonitis and not anything more serious.Tonight, I am going to dinner with my husband, tomorrow is our 12yr anniversary but I would rather go out on a Saturday night than a Sunday. Gosh, 12yrs, feels like yesterday, I remember is so well, it was so hot that day too but it was a beautiful night and I have pictures overlooking the Whitestone Bridge with the water and it was beautiful and I was so THIN and YOUNG!! Ugh, that's what upsets me the most. Anyway, have a great Saturday everyone. Oh, GH next Friday we have Liason scenes just to let all of you know but I am not sure now if they hit the sheets and if he takes off his shirt, sorry if I got everyone excited about it, I guess we have to watch to find out but I am not holding my breathe. Although, Steve Burton is looking hot these days.

Wayne had to go in and work today. Our day started at 3:45 AM. I fixed his coffee, laid his clothes out, made sure he had everything needed for the day, then after he left, I fell back asleep! hehehe Our day has been cloudy, overcast, and a nice breeze, but NO RAIN! WAHHHHHHHH! I'm so envious of all the inches and inches of RAIN that Raggs and fellow Floridian's have been getting. Raggs ~~~~ I'm so glad you didn't see anymore damage than loosing 1 tree, and power for a while. The news channels keep showing so much more damage to FL, in Fay's wake! I haven't heard from Rock. I hope all is well at her house. Rock ~~~ If you read this, please check in so we know you're OK.

Well, it's 12am and I can't sleep. Kids/husband are all asleep. Mike is still suffering with his arm so I don't want to bother him if he is finally sleeping. Went out to a Spanish restaurant called Espana tonight, had the sangria and the pialla which was good. As an appetizer, we had guacamoli with calamara and shrimp cut up in it, really good. Afterwards, we went down to the marina to see the sun go down, too many people and there was no sun to go down so we left. It was a nice night anyway. Tomorrow, will make a nice dinner for us but no parents or inlaw Mike said he wants to just have us where he can relax and doesn't have to entertain anyone. It was such a nice day today that we spent most of it sitting in our yard. I have to say though, 12yrs ago, the weather was alot hotter than it is now. Well, hope everyone has a good weekend. Ooooh, I'm late again! Had to go downtown this morning and wanted to get ahead of the 'barbecue fanatics' out buying their picnic supplies.
