Good morning my family! Sorry I'm not on as much. I'm trying to get Jeff ready and packed he's leaving on an exercise from Aug 30- Sept 12. I'm also trying to get everything ready for Erin's first birthday party. Yes I know it's a little over a month away but I need to figure out how many people, how much food to make, how many party favors to make, mail the invitations and give at least three weeks for an rsvp.

Ok enough rambling about that. Erin still only has three teeth. She screams out Bear's name alot (he's our 100 lb chocolate lab). It's so cute because she'll say bbbb BEAR and then he comes a running and washes her face hehehe.

I hope everyone is well and safe, I'll try to go back today and read about three pages I've missed.

Hi Gal Pals ~~~~~ Happy Tuesday!!

Our weekend flew by. I ran errands Saturday, then we had a cookout Saturday evening. Deana,Rusty and the girls came over. Deana sat her butt down w/ the guys watching the Olympic's, and left all the cooking and keeping the kids entertained to me! GGGRRRRRRR! By the time I got the kitchen cleaned back up, and had played 'referee' for the umptenth time for the girls fighting, I had an 'attitude!' hehehe So, when the girls started begging to spend the night, I had no problem in saying.....'NOT TONIGHT!' I blamed it on the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse! hehehe The look on Deana's face was 'priceless!' She was sure she could put them off on me for the weekend! Love her, love them, but, can't deal w/ all 3 of them at the same time. There's just enough difference in their ages that they fuss, squabble, bicker over everything!!!!! Enough was Enough for one night! After I locked the front door behind them, I fixed me a nice large glass of Cranberry juice and vodka w/ tinkling ice, sat down, propped my feet up and watched replays of the Olympic's I had missed! AAAAHHHHHHH! Much better! hehehe

Roe ~~~~ I'm sooooooooo glad you have a happy homefront again!

Raggs ~~~ Have you got the hatches all battened down? I was hoping we'd get some rain from Fay. The noon news didn't leave much hope that it'll come this way. Rock is South West of me, so I don't know if she'll get any of it or not. I haven't heard from her in a few weeks. I hope all is well on her homefront. I'll email her today. I went down yesterday to start picking some pears off the tree. I got stung 3 times by the bumble bees, so gave up on that little venture and came back in.

Gotta go for now. I'm going to Walmart w/ Kathy across the street. I'll check back in later. Love Ya's, Susie

Hey Girls ~~~~ Just checking back in. I just got back from going to Walmart w/ Kathy and my little 'munchkin' Isabelle. The boys are back in school, and Isabelle is 2. It's so much more fun going shopping w/ a 2 year old!! hehehe They ride in the buggy, you don't have to chase them or constantly tell them to stay where I can see you, or 'NO' we don't need that this week! hehehe I just went along to get out of the house for a few and ended up spending $35.00's! hehehehe Isabelle has a 'rubber duck' collection she takes a bath with. I found her a black and white cow w/ a duck's beal on it! She loved it. The rest of the way through the store whe was 'mooooing' and 'quacking!' I got both boys a t-shirt each. You can't buy for one w/o buying for all 3! The choice of t-shirts was a lot easier w/ them in school! hehehe

Hello gals! Yes, I am still alive and kickin'. Been feeling the blahs again but I think doc found out why. I had some bloodwork done and have been found to have a low thyroid (which doc says is common in pre-menapausal women - YIKES) so I got some meds to take to get me on my way hopefully.

Raggs - I got your email and have sent you a response so you got my email correct.

DM - I got your e-card but am trying to access it. They want me to download the software and my system isn't liking it. I'll keep trying. I sent you an email too.

Mo1 - How ironic that your dog is named Bear cus that is the name of my dog I had to put down last year. He was a 100 lb German Shepherd - miss him much but he's on the mantle in a cedar box and we still have Harley - a female Shepherd.

Special note to everyone: thank you for laying low and letting me have my time and space. I have missed you all dearly and have not meant to cast you all aside ... hugs to all!!

Anybody else set up a myspace page yet? You might want to think about it cus it's a great way to keep in touch on a more private level. I've got a couple of you as my friends but sure would like more.

Just want you to know that tomorrow, I will probably be MIA since I am going into the city with the kids and Mike. We are going to be tourists for the day, going on a bus and boat tour in Manhatten. We don't want to stay out too late but we want to enjoy the day in the Big Apple. We made reservations for September 6th to go to the Statue of Liberty in order to go into her body, you need a pass which has to be in a 2wk advance notice so the kids will start school that week, be upset and this will cheer them up.Have a good one everyone, talk to you if I can.

good morning everybody. it is really nice outside with a breeze flowing all around my nightgown. i sorta felt like marilyn monroe for a minute. maddie has her nose in the air trying to find a new scent to bark at. she is finally feeling better. no throwing up from raggs my cat either. thank goodness.

sorry i didn't get back to yall after my doctor appt. they kept me there from 3:30pm to 5:45pm. i was whipped when i got home. the news is some good and some bad. when i went in he was suppose to take off 4 or 5 more spots on my back. well the lab report from my breast showed that it (melonoma) did get into the tissue. the doc said it also showed that the deeper part of the tissue did show it was free and clear. he checked me over and said he was going to have to take 15 spots off my back. i almost fell off the table. so he had to put 2 shots in each one. this time i felt the shots and that wasn't fun. he burned some off and cutt some out. i think including my breast i now have a total of 33 stitches in me right now. it all burned during the night but i was able to sleep fairly well. this morning i am just a little sore. he said for me to come in thursday so he could take a look and then he would take my breast stitches out. next week he wants to work on my face, chest, and arms and legs. he said there are many spots there that will need to come off. i am not sure how i feel about all of this. i know i am somewhat depressed about it. why so many and why now? my exhusband has asbestos and agent orange damage and i wonder if by me always washing his clothes maybe i got it that way. probably not but still i don't know what has caused this. i was listed as a defendant when he sued the companies, we got alot of money at first but every now and then we still get a check. should i call our lawyer? i guess i am panicing but this makes me feel really bad. i do not want this in my body. oh well enough about all of that.

the news shows that we will start getting the effects of the storm today and then after it makes it turn from jacksonville it will pass over us they say. my weather alert keeps going off. looks nice out there right now. rain should start around 9am it said. chad and danny are on night shifts. the buffs are our main problem. if they charge the fences will be torn down. gary says that they will be able to handle it as long as a tornado doesn't come. i am not worried, actually i usually am. guess i got more on my mind that a bad storm.

i need to go walk maddie then i am going to get back to responding to some of yall. happy wednesday today. love, raggs

One of Jeff's troops called 1:30 this morning then I couldn't fall back to sleep. Then I finally fell asleep at 4:00 and Erin wakes up at 5:00 with a full diaper and fell back to sleep 20 minutes later so I've been up since.

My master bathroom, kitchen, and living room is clean now. So I'm sitting here on my third cup of tea watching the movie Transformers.
