Quote alfie1: HI, happy birthday cali,I hope you have lots of fun.disney is fun . hi alfie all i can tell you is that i asked my son-in-law about the same thing. i asked did he want everyone to pull out and come home or did he want to stay. he told me that he and most men around him want to stay until their job is done. he said it would be a slap in their face if they pulled them out too soon before they completed their mission. that seemed very important to him and his buddies. he said they wanted to respect each and every soilder and assist person that has died over there by staying and getting the job done and done right. he said it was the only true way to support and respect each dying soilder. i hope i said this right. we had several long talks on the phone while he was here on r and r. he also shared the way he plans on voting with me and he asked me to support his decision even though we are from different party lines. i promised him i would. your origional question, i guess from what he said, they should stay over there and fight anf get the job done. thanks for askinf alfie, love to you, raggs

sorry gals, i ment to stay on alot today but we did get the rain but we had lightening and thunder so i had to have everything unplugged most of day. i will certainly catch up tomorrow sometime. i had my doctors appointment at 8:30 am and then gary has one at 3pm so it will be inbetween then sometime. i am gonna try to get my emails tonight. no word from b-day girl yet?? hope she has had a funfilled day. roe, i miss you and i take it you are about to loeave again on vacation. i am so happy yall are getting some down time. let me tell yall she and her husband are so involved in their kids and their school and sports that they deserve a medial for being the most intentive parents. roe sacrifices all her spare time to work with her kids. you enjoy every minute of relaxation you can get girl!!!!! i will try to get on later tonight. love to everyone, raggs |

I think its our guys over there who should be the ones who decide whether they stay or not.they know what is going on,its their life they are putting on the line.for our freedom.we should support them period.and respect them. |

We are going out tonight for Japanese hibachi so they should find that quite entertaining. Friday we go into NYC for the usual sight seeing and Saturday everyones over my house for my sons b'day. It is so much harder to entertain guests from abroad when you have children! And they have children.  And dealing w/the car seats and car space!Congrats to you MA on the birth of Sarah!! Raggs-loved your post today! Glad to catch up w/you on your farm life. I especially see such a difference in your tomatoes. My cherry tomatoes are just growing in and green and you're already picking! Enjoy your visit w/you daughter and her family. Stay well and don't forget to relax! Roe-another vacation? I don't even have one planned yet! Lucky girl! Lake George is not close by to me, not sure exactly where it is, but I remember going there when I was little w/my family. Very pretty. I'm in Westchester County, not far from White Plains or Chappaqua (those towns are more familiar to most) So, your anniversary is coming up NEXT month and your hubby already bought you a gift AND gave it to you? You better tell me your secret, missy! My 15th anniversary was this June 26 and I got zippo! HE's in the dog house for that one, I told him he's gonna have to think real hard to make up for that! Gval-enjoying this heat wave? I'm having my family over on Saturday and it's supposed to be a hot one. It'll have to be on my deck, since that's a huge space out there and I'll have to keep the hose handy to cool us down! I wish it could be like this past Sunday, it was gorgeous! The 4th was spent at my sisters house and it was ok, nothing great. Cali-hope you got my email! Hugs to all those I missed, gotta go continue my duties and hope to catch up some time w/all of you. Hi, have a blast in NYC. If you go to Times Square, across from Toys R Us, the naked cowboy is usually out, I am sure your family will get a real kick out of that one. My husband works in the MTV building but they have nothing to see in there or else I would have had you visit him.When I get back from Florida, I will be taking the kids back to the city for the day, they love it there. One day I will get to Italy, my dream vacation. Yes, I was surprised too that he bought me something, usually it's just dinner. My birthday I didn't get anything but I guess beacause he bought me the bracelet and earrings for Valentine's Day, I didn't say too much, I personally think that was more of a thank you gift since I was in the hospital with his mom that day. Well, 15yrs is a round number so I think he better do something nice. Did you go to dinner? How about going someplace overnight? Now is a good time since the relatives are over and you have babysitters. If all else fails, give him my number and we will discuss it. |

Well, I think I'm going to sign off early tonight. I have an appt. with my oncologist at St Francis Hosp.tomorrow for my 4-mo. check-up and pap. I'm hoping they say I can switch to every 6 mos. Good morning ladies, sorry I missed some of you. I had to take my oldest to camp this morning. I have to get to the library today and the book store. Joey had to read 3 books this summer so that I can do at the library. Michael has to read 2 books by either one of the 4 authors they gave us and my friend told me that at the library, they are all on backorder can you beleive that? So, now I have to go and buy 2 books. Another hot/sticky day here in NY but I am not complaining, better than rain and thunderstorms. Cali, glad you had a great birthday, that's great that you spent it having fun and between me and you, I would have milked it too. |

gh fan i am very sorry you are not feeling well. has your doctor checked you for lymes i hope i spelled it right. up by me we have to watch tick bites it sounds like lymes. with your symptoms that would be the first thing they would test for where i live. did you try a different doctor? |
