it is hot and muggy in new york 4th of july was quiet around my neighbor . i went food shopping and work around the house this weekend and slept late couple of mornings i needed the rest.

raggs i love hearing about your life on the farm and all your animals. as you know i have few pets. iam glad you had a nice trip home and now your daugther will be there soon enjoy your visit with them. i am goping to do some work but i will be on and off. i miss you ladies when i dont get to talk to you.

ragges, it is great that we live here in this country.where we are free to do what we want todo.and that we dont have bombs going off all the time destroying our land and killing people.
I have a question ;I know we want our guys back from over there. but but if they came home.and those people decided to take over us.and this country became a war field.is it better to fight over there in their country or at home, in our country?and more people dieing there,or here.?people dieing any where is not great.

Hello everyone!
Sorry it's been awhile, but it's been rather hectic keeping up w/summer life! My cousins are still in visiting from Italy and we've been busy. We are going out tonight for Japanese hibachi so they should find that quite entertaining. Friday we go into NYC for the usual sight seeing and Saturday everyones over my house for my sons b'day. It is so much harder to entertain guests from abroad when you have children! And they have children. And dealing w/the car seats and car space!

Congrats to you MA on the birth of Sarah!! She is beautiful, Roe sent me the pics. God bless her and your family. How's it going now that your friend has returned home? Hope all is well. Miss your "sparkly" posts!!

Raggs-loved your post today! Glad to catch up w/you on your farm life. I especially see such a difference in your tomatoes. My cherry tomatoes are just growing in and green and you're already picking! Enjoy your visit w/you daughter and her family. Stay well and don't forget to relax!

Roe-another vacation? I don't even have one planned yet! Lucky girl! Lake George is not close by to me, not sure exactly where it is, but I remember going there when I was little w/my family. Very pretty. I'm in Westchester County, not far from White Plains or Chappaqua (those towns are more familiar to most) So, your anniversary is coming up NEXT month and your hubby already bought you a gift AND gave it to you? You better tell me your secret, missy! My 15th anniversary was this June 26 and I got zippo! HE's in the dog house for that one, I told him he's gonna have to think real hard to make up for that!

Gval-enjoying this heat wave? I'm having my family over on Saturday and it's supposed to be a hot one. It'll have to be on my deck, since that's a huge space out there and I'll have to keep the hose handy to cool us down! I wish it could be like this past Sunday, it was gorgeous! The 4th was spent at my sisters house and it was ok, nothing great.
