Hey girls ... sorry I've been MIA lately but we've been busy, especially since my niece is here. My brother also came over on Friday from Arizona.

Hubby raced last Friday locally and ran into bad luck once again. Fortunately he didn't get hurt nor did he tear anything major up. A bolt broke loose on the front right and ended up breaking the clamp that holds the muffler on so he had to pull off the track. I guess better him than me cus I would probably freak out.

We are going to disneyland tomorrow so I should probably go get my chores done today.

I have to watch the bachelorette, she picks tonight. I hope it's Jason the one with the kid since I would feel so bad if she led him on knowing he has a son. Bye.

My brother-in-law came down and checked dad out-- he's a first responder--Dad decided he wasn't going to the ER again, so my brother-in-law stayed with my parents and Sarah so I could go and get dads meds.

Thanks BonBon! I can't believe it is my birthday AGAIN. They seem to come so fast and furious, don't they?

My neice and daughter have been planning all kinds of secret stuff ... Kaitlyn keeps blowing it but I pretend like I'm clueless.

Gee, I can't wait to go to Disneyland tomorrow. Ugh. All those people, all those lines, all that money. Thank goodness my (usually) cheap brother has volunteered to pay. Can you believe it costs $65 to get in to just Disneyland? What a rip off.

Thanks again - hard to believe I'm 39 again. LOL

Jeff and I took her for her 9 month well visit yesterday.

weighs- 17lbs 5oz
lenght- 27.5 inches
head - 16cm


Doctor said she's 25% in her age group. She said that she's perfect but a little on the petite side with her weight.


I have good news. Erin cut a tooth on Sunday morning.

Will try to chat later I feel I need to get alot done today. I have all the kids today.

good morning everyone and happy belated 4th of july. we really do live in the best country there ever was. in other countries we would not be allowed to watch gh or have friends or have a computer. we are truly blessed. did you know that cuba just recently was starting to allow computers! i believe in our country, i believe.

today, on this special day, i want to say a healthy happy birthday to our friend cali aka sprout by me. you are such a wonderful and beautiful person to all of us. you are full of life and excitement that we all enjoy. you are a wonderful person, mother, wife, and true friend to many. may god always send angels around you and yours and may you be blessed with health and happiness for the rest of your life here on earth. we love you cali!!!!! . i love you friend, love raggs

i had a wonderful time seeing my sister, brother, and mom and dad. although i know my dad has a short time left here with us on earth i am so thankful for anytime i can spend with him. my sister and her husband has already moved to the family farm in pegion creek alabama. gary and i will be joining them within the next 3 years for our full time retirement. we will still be employed by the farm but there will be no alarm clocks in our retirement life.
diane, my sister had her first garden this year and she did a fantastic job. bill, her husband loves to research stuff so he had everything planned out before they even got started. i taught diane how to can tomatoes and beans and how to put things in the freezer. we also made bread and butter pickles and dill pickles and we canned all of them. we cut the corn off the cobb and and froze creamed corn. we also put atleast 5 bushels on the cobb in the freezer. if anyone wants to know an easy way to do that, get in touch with me cause i got the best, quickest, easiest method and the corn every year comes out like you had just cut it from the stalk.

my daughter crystal, is down from arizonia but i haven't seen her or the kids yet. right now they are in pensacola and should be coming this way in about a week. i just can't hardly wait to get my hands on her and my grand kids. i have missed them so much. we are gonna go and see chad saturday so that will really make everything a beautiful treat!!!

we have 70% chance of rain today so i will mostly be inside and i will be on site alot off and on. i hope i run into some of yall. we have given chad this week off so he can go and see his famiy but his friend and our new employee, danny, will be here with me to work. meghan is gone to wild adventures today and hopefully she will go to her aunts in north carolina afterwards for a week with fun and play with her cousins. she did wonderful on our trip. this was the 2nd time she has been with our family and they dearly love her.

gary made the statement to my dad that he has plans to sale off all the cows and bring more buffs in and i voiced my opinioun loud and clear. my cows were not going anywhere!!!!!!i think he got the message very clear. i laughed later me fighting for my cows, but they mean alot to me. my winged ones are chiper this am. i sang them blessed lord, jesus is mine and they struted with me all the way down to the barns this am. maddie brought up the tail end of the line.maddie is so happy that i am back, i sure got licked silly when we got home. chad did a wonderful job while we were gone and we are so blessed we have him. all my roma tomatos are ready to finish being picked and them i have another crop of beefsteaks after that. we are not going to plant a second crop of everything because i have so much "behind" work to do on all the animals. still no time for names yet but that will happen when all crops are done for this season. we will have a small fall garden, just enough for us, cabbage, beets, and such. i hope all of yall have been able to get some really fresh tomatoes this season. with the recall stuff i am sure yall have missed them. mine is organic too because we do not spray or anything.i wish all of yall could be here and enjoy all the goodness the lord has provided. i still have a dream of building a large suitable bunk house for friends and family. we would really have fun, and i also would get alot of help from yall during harvest time. yall could take home all you could handle, as long as you didn't fly.

no rain yet so i am going to go meet danny at the new barn and help im get all the hay moved before the rain. he has already feed all by now. he really doesn't need my help but i think he would enjoy the company and i would like to get to know him more. i will take sadie with me cause she comes in handy alot now. we are trying to conserve on tractor disel so yall know what i mean. i like doing things the old fashioned way.

oh yeah, we were told that everything went great in town for the 4th of july celebrations. we sponsored the soap box derby and chad represented us there. we paid the winner $500.00 and there was also a lot of other prizes. no one went without a prize. there was 27 entries. the person that came in last place got an x box thing a ma jig.
