I just made a HUGE goof!!
I typed a message and, each time I tried to post it, it kept asking for a 'title'. I figured it must be something new, so I typed in "Just Checking In". Then the post went on and I realized that, somehow, I must have clicked on "Create a new topic" by accident. Sooo, to make a long story LONGER, I tried to delete it and it won't let me so if you want to read it, you'll have to go to "Topic List" and read it there.

I'd made comments to Susie, Roe and Mommie and a general 'good night' to everyone else.

Sorry....I'm OLD! Must have had a brain fart...hee hee

Hi, Susie! So glad you had a nice 4th. You didn't mention Wayne's whereabouts in all this. I'll bet, being a guy, he was laid out on the couch, clutching the remote in one hand and a beer in the other, watching NASCAR. OR, ZZZzzzzZZZZZzzzz'g
away the day.

I didn't have to go anywhere to see fireworks, either. All my neighbors had them and we all got to enjoy them from our own yards. No driving! Yippee!

Your pc seems to be working ok now. Hold that thought!

OK, I'm back. Good Sunday morning, everyone! Boy, this long weekend has flown by, hasn't it? Hope all of you are safely home and relaxing today. It's a good day to be OFF the roads. Let all the crazies out there, who waited till the last minute to drive home, have the roads to themselves. It's too stressful to be caught in all that traffic.

I've decided to wait until tomorrow to visit Robin and baby Sara Jean in the hospital. They'll probably have more than enough company today. Just can't face driving into Hartford today.

good morning ladies. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Looks like we are going to have a very windy cool day, which is nice after all the humidity we have had the last couple of weeks.
Gval, how are you doing? I haven't chatted with you in awhile. I start my school on a more regular basis tomorrow. It is going to seem so strange going back to school after all these years.

MA How are you doing? I don't expect it to be too busy here today. Everyone getting back from the weekend festivities and recovering from them.

Gotta go and make my son some lunch and try to keep him occupied until his dad decides to make an appearance. Sorry, ignore me, it just seems that lately his friends are more important than his son. Do I sound bitter? LOL.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. It wasn't a great one here weather wise though. Today is very humid. I went to Macy's and bought a bathing suite that was onsale. Actually $60 isn't really a sale but it's a new one out, 2 piece but one that my boobs can fit into and the bottoms are shorts and not a skirt so my butt/thighs don't look so big. Since it looked decent, the $60 was worth it. I really went off my diet and this week, I have to get back on program. My 12th anniversary is next month 8/24 and my husband bought me now because he saw it, a necklace with all different colored stones to match the bracelet he had bought me for Valentines Day/birthday combination. It looks so pretty on and I was surprised. He couldn't wait until August which is fine, at least it was something that I liked and looks good on and didn't make me look fat.

Hey Spent yesterday at the ER with my dad, his blood pressure shot up.. He didn't want to go, My sister called the abulance from her house, boy was he mad-- He was so cute in the examining room he looked up on the wall and read a chart,then he asked me what did ER meant.
I hope everyone had a good fourth-- I didn't do anything here--Sarah doesn't care anything for fireworks.

I am so Miffed, I need to go to town and get all our mrds, Sarah is out of her insure, I need to pay bills, But my brother won't come down and stay with Srah and my parents so I can go-- I called him five times-- I hung up Gotta go dad needs to go back to the ER

G-auntiep, I'm saying a prayer for you and yours right now. Hope your dad gets better and you're able to deal with your other worries.
Don't handle them alone. Turn them over and ask HIS divine help. We know He always hears us and shows us the way. "If He brings us to it, He'll see us through it."

It's been really quiet here today. I just realized that I never came back and posted this morning. I had started one and got a phone call which knocked me off-line. It was my friend from Nebraska who recently had the stroke. Our conversation was a long one because she has trouble putting her thoughts and words together in sentences.
She had to go back to the E/R last Sat. On top of everything, she has trouble breathing. The doctor put her on prednisone and an inhalent.
She's really having a hard time of it. Please say a prayer for her. I wish I lived near to her and could help in some way.
