Good morning ladies, just wanted to come on to say Happy 4th of July to the ones who will not be here this weekend and are leaving town. Hope you all have a safe trip and have a great time. I will be here today and tomorrow so hopefully, I won't be alone. Have to take my parents to the doctors this morning. Talk to everyone later when I get back. We're getting ready to leave within the next houror two. I don't want to rush because god forbid I leave something important Erin might need. O'h boy don't want to get screwed.

It's about a 90 minute drive depending on traffic, so Erin will probably take a nap on the way there.

First & foremost.....MaryAnn, I am so sorry I missed your birthday....I came on before & after......I hope you had a great day, and a wonderful year full of love, friends, & good health.

ok.......now just a quickie post to all.......hoping everyone has a fun, & SAFE 4th......if you are traveling, please be careful.....prayers all around for fun & good memories!! Alan is in Lousianna (sp?), & should make it in by 9 or so tonight. He was down in South Texas.....like 3 miles from the Mexican border!!! & my poor baby, only speaks English!!! LOL

Off to go pay the electric bill........gotta have my air in GA......even though last few days have been nice......wish Susie could send me some of her rain!!.....I swear to you, it rains EVERYWHERE in this county, EXCEPT in this little corner in the NorthWest....I live a mile or so off the two lane, and it rains there, but not on my road!!.....go figure

I am so enjoying my evening walks, and I actually "feel" like I am benefiting from the walking. haven't really lost any weight, I don't think, but after just a month, I feel "firmer".....not bad for a (almost) 48 year young lady!!!

Hi Girls ~~~~~ I hope everyone is having a great Pre-4th day! Please be safe in all your travels and plans. I hadn't planned on doing much this weekend, but, our Girls (Deana, April and Sarah) made plans for me!!! It turns out WE'RE having a cookout here tomorrow evening, and the grandkids want to spend the night AGAIN!!! SO..... instead of cooking for 3, I'll be cooking for 12!! And, I'll have 5 kids spending the night!!!! Apparantly.....they had such a good time at Nana's the week b4 last....that they couldn't wait to do it AGAIN!! Lord......please give me the strength and patience to get through this! hehehe I love them dearly....I just have a hard time dealing w/ all of them at one time!! It makes me wonder HOW I did it all those years ago, raising 5 kids and working a full time job????? Plus...all the housework, yardwork, and running them all to different functions!! I must've been 'SuperWoman' and didn't even know it!! hehehe I guess that's why I don't have the strength and patience to do it now! I've paid my dues and I'm worn out! hehehe Deana and April want to have their own 'space' w/o the kids, so they put them off on me!! I never had anyone to put them off on! Am I being a 'BAD NANA?" I mean...Deana doesn't even work and all she does is complain because now that school's out the kids are driving her crazy! She needs a break from them!! HELLO!! She doesn't clean house, she doesn't do yardwork, she doesn't work outside the home, and now she doesn't want to be a Mom to her 3 girls! It makes me wonder what she does do all day long while Rusty is at work!! Sorry!!! I've vented enough on that subject!! hehehe I am soooooooooooo ready for GNO TONIGHT!! I need to get off here and go to the grocery store. Can you tell I'm just not in the mood for tomorrow nights 4th cookout????? And, on top of that the Weather Channel says it's supposed to rain!!!!
