roe i know exactly what you are talking about. it is like let me peek before i post type thing. it never use to be that way at all. i miss so many of the old group but i know that they are staying away for the same reason. i hear from some of them and that site was their lifeline to everybody so i worry about them. i can count on two hands the ones that are gone. i can also count on less than 1 hand the reason why.

gals i will see yall in the early am. i have to go to town early and pick up meghan before maddie sinks deeper in depression. ungrateful dog, we almost died together and all she wants is meghan! i am happy that they love each other. night to all and long sweaty, sexy hot dreams!!!! love raggs.

Hi Girls ~~~~~~ I hope you're all having a good day. Mine has been pretty busy so far. Me and Sammy have been outside working in the yard. We picked another gallon of big juicy blackberries. I'm out of room in the freezer to put anymore, so I guess we'll give them to my munchkins across the street. I have 20 jars of blackberry perserves left from last year. And, we really don't have anymore cabinet space to store them in. I gave a bunch away at Christmas in gift baskets, and still have 20 jars left. I'm the only one here that likes them, so it takes me forever to finish off a jar. Wayne likes the fig and pear perserves more than the blackberry. I had to weed out my butterfly bush bed in back. You can actually see the bird bath and bird feeders again! hehehe

Raggs ~~~ I'm sure Gary didn't plan on getting sick himself when he expanded the farm. Getting another helping hand sounds like a good plan. Neither one of you are in any shape to keep up the pace you've been doing. I felt the same way about the rain we had on Sunday. Loosing power and cable wasn't that great, but we still need so much more rain! I saw on the news that our lakes are down over a foot from Memorial day, and they were cautioning boaters planning on being on the lakes for July 4th to be careful. It's also so dry, they're cautioning people to be careful w/ fireworks over the weekend. Shooting them is legal in GA. Last year our street went together and had our own cookout and fireworks show in the cul-de-sac. It was lots of fun and gave most of the neighbors a chance to chat where as most of the time they're too busy to do more than wave on their way in or out. But, w/ our economy changing as it has the last year, no one can afford to have a block party again! There will still be a bunch of fireworks being shot off around the different neighborhoods, so we're going to have our cookout on the deck and watch them. There's a 20% chance of rain on Friday. I hope it does rain before they start shooting off fireworks!!

Guess I'd better get off here and finish up Wayne's dinner. I put a beef roast in the crock pot last night and let it slow cook all night. It's so tender it's falling apart! I added some potatoes, vadalia onions and carrots to it this morning and they're done. I've got left over greenbeans from yesterday. I'm making some cole slaw and cornbread, and that should fill him up! hehehe I hope everyone has a great night. I may or may not be back. Depends on how my evening goes w/ these 2 fella's in my life! hehehe I love Ya's, Susie

GHFan - is your niece still visiting? How old is she? Mine is here too and she is 17. If you come out Friday to check out the Riverside National Cemetary, come on over to the Perris Speedway as Mike is racing Friday Night. They added our club to the USAC show and the fun starts at 3pm. I guess we have to be on the track with our cars at 3pm to meet and greet with the fans and sign autographs. Hubby wants me to do it for him since my name is on the car. He just doesn't want to do a "meet and greet". Isn't it funny to think of a meet and greet for racing? Most of the tickets are reserve but they have some general admission tix in turn 4 but it's first come first served. They are having games and food and racing starts at 7pm. Supposidly they put on a great fireworks show after the races.

The cemetary is on Van Buren. Take the 91 to the 60 east to the 215 south. Get off on Van Buren and its on the left side. You can't miss it. They also have the air museum across the freeway on March ARB.

I know.....I have been MIA, but it is for G D reasons!!
After the last flare , and a round of steriods , I did like a 360 I feel better than I have in years!!!
Praise be to Him who has taken my pain!!

Baylei & I are up to almost a mile & a half every night And less than 3 months ago, I couldn't even walk to the bathroom God is so awesome!!

Had a great singing at the church Sunday night...."The Chuck Wagon Gang"....really good...old fashioned hymns.....and of course one of my favorite..."I'll fly away".....

I have been taking a training class to work at the polls for our local elections, july 15, and for the Nov elections.

It is just so great to have some life back again!! I don't even miss my couch!!!

Okay girls.......sorry about the big absence.....You are in my daily thoughts & prayers......and we still have e mail!!

Good evening, gals. It has been thundering and raining all afternoon and evening.
We had another beautiful rainbow earlier.

Have been getting David ready to go home to AZ tomorrow morning. We have to get up at 3:30am. Wow, what a great job he did on my car. It looks like a new paint job. I'm so pleased with it.

Well, I'm on my way to bed for a few hours. I won't be on until later tomorrow morning. Probably won't get home until 9am or so.

Aussie, so glad to hear from you. Everyone was asking where you were on your trip. You didn't post to your blog and we wondered how things were going. Hope your mom is doing well and having a good time, too.

Gals, Roe suggested that we have GNO on Thurs. night. What do you think? I'm ready, if you are.
