Hi, gals! This is kind of a good nite/good morning post.
Intended to come on after DWTS was over but was waiting until West Coast girls had seen it. Got too sleepy to make it so went to bed. Woke up at 4:15AM with birds chirping outside my window! What the MOP! That's a little early, even for the early birds. No self-respecting worm was up THAT early. hahaha

By now, it's safe to say, "HURRAH FOR KRISTIE!!!!"
It was so good to see all the previous winners and all of this season's contestants back. My Helio is driving in the Indy 500 this weekend. Did you hear him say he was going to WIN it! That would make my weekend! Don't let me forget to toast to his success during GNO. Oh, are we even having GNO this week?
It will be the holiday long weekend. I suppose a lot of you will be going away or really busy with cook-outs, etc.

I got a shock yesterday. My friend from AZ, who wasn't supposed to arrive until 6/10, is getting here on 5/29!
That's almost 2 weeks earlier than planned. His nephew's wedding isn't until 6/21 so he'll be here with me for at least a MONTH! I told him straight out that things have changed since my illness and he can't expect the '5 Star' treatment that I used to give when he lived here years ago.
I told him it will be more like an older 'Motel 6' accomodation. hee hee Aren't I mean??

He said not to worry..that he could fend for himself. We'll see.

I'm spoiled now that I live alone. If I'm not going anywhere, sometimes I don't bother getting 'completely'dressed. Catch my drift? Pants and top, no 'B'. Comprehende?

I'm a creature of habit. I have my soaps and shows that I watch and I don't want someone turning on the ball game in the middle of them or deciding to 'chat' through the best parts. My landlord does that sometimes and it drives me nuts! He knows it annoys me but he does it anyway. 'Y chromosomes syndrome'!! They don't know any better.

Well, day is dawning. I may as well set up the coffeemaker so it's ready to switch on in another hour.

Tonight we'll find out who wins Amer.Idol. It was funny last night. I was watching DWTS while trying to hit the redial on my phone to get past the busy signal and vote for David Archielatta. Talk about your multi-tasking.

Good morning ladies. I am on early today because I have that May Crowning thing up at school at 9am so I hope it will only take an hour, I am so behind on housework. DTW was so good last night. I am glad that Kristi won, I kept on calling for to win. The others were good too but she nailed almost all her performances and plus I wanted a woman to win. It was nice to see the others back, some still can't dance and Pricilla really needs to change her face again but her hair color is better. I don't watch American Idol but I might check out the winner. Did anyone watch the Bachalorette? Not too many nice looking guys that she picked, have to check them out again next week.
Maryann, I am not going away this weekend. We were asked to go to Monroe NY to visit his cousin but my husband just wants to stay home and I have orders not to invite friends over either, he justs wants to hang out and relax although I am trying to talk him maybe into going to Manhatten to see the ships that are coming in for the weekend, have to see.Maybe I will just see if anything is going on around the neighborhood.
Raggies, hope you are feeling better today. I will email you later when I get back from school. Nice day in NY after all the rain we had yesterday.

Hi Girls ~~~ We survived the storms that passed through here last night. Our cable went off soon after I posted and was off for a few hours. I didn't get to see DWTS at all!! WAAAHHHHH! You'd think these storms could be a little more selective as to when they hit!! I must've slept on one of the fallen trees from outside, I got up w/ a stiff neck and shoulder!!! I've been rubbing BenGay on them and I think I'm going to go stand in the shower under some good massaging hot water and see if it'll loosen them up any! I was glad to hear Kristi won DWTS! GO GIRL POWER!! I didn't see American Idol either. I did see bits and pieces of the 'David vs. David' updates on CNN this morning. Anyway....I'm getting stiffer by the minute sitting here .... so I'll stop now! I'll be back after while. I love Ya's, Susie

Susie: My flowers are blooming everywhere. Luckily they don't need much attention now. I planted some new seeds this year that have beautiful foliage and flowers on the front packet. Mine have grown with the beautiful foliage but no flowers yet. I
am not sure where the flowers are even going to come out on the foliage. They are called
Nasturtiums. The flowering part looks like a butterfly flapping its wings. Have you ever dealt with them?

Rock: I hope you are still improving with your legs. Hope the next round of chemo isn't too rough on you. You are always in my prayers.

NY: I miss you, hon!!! I watched some footage of our gal, Sam, on DWTS. I also read her bio and I never knew she was pretty popular with playboy. That was a shock, but I think it is wonderful.
I always felt that she was gorgeous. I miss Sam!

cjs: You still with us, gal? It was so nice to see you come back. Let's see, ghrocks has been MIA for a while. Are you having fun now!?!?!?


cali: No, I didn't leave you for last, only I wanted to say at the end how much I appreciate everything you have been doing for me. GIRLS, LET ME TELL YOU, WE HAVE A TREMENDOUS FRIEND IN CALI !!! Thanks, cali, for being my lightning rod. I decided not to put this posting task on you because you already do so much for me.
I just want to publicly thank you for keeping my spirits up.
I am usually in good spirits but this thing has blown all my self-confidence away. I never even know if what I am seeing or hearing is real. One of the side-effects is hallucinations and I have really had a lot of that. Cali even answers my hallucinating mind !! It is like she is there with me on this trip. Cali, I love you!!

roe: A special note to you, too. Bless you for helping me on a daily basis. You truly seem like family to me and that helps me not feel so lonely for my family. I don't know what I would have done if you had not befriended me.
You are like another sister, best friend, counselor, medical doctor, and someone who can always read between my lines. You are blessed with a truly fantastic family and thank you for counting me a part of that. Kisses and huggs to you, too.

MaryAnn: I do miss you!! We got to where we always started our mornings together and I miss that. My winged ones always enjoyed your song selections. I haven't been feeding them everyday. Chad helps. He sings to them, too,

wow quiet here today. would someone please contact chrissi and get her to go to the update comments from 20 may 2008 and deal with a few people. I thought that i had gotten through to people because it was really nice over there for the last week or so. but yall would not belive that stuff that was said yesterday, crazy..

Raggies, thank you for your beautiful words, you and everyone else on here are like my 2nd family. Don't let things or people bother you. It has taken me all of my 41yrs to realize that you can't please people so don't even try. We may take offense to certain things but if you ignore it and say to yourself that you are better than that then you can move on. Don't take too many things to heart raggies, you know who your true friends really are. ME included! Just relax like the doctor has ordered, hang out with us, GH stinks so I can't even tell you to watch that but youtube is good. I must have watched yesterdays kiss between Jason/Liz at least 20 times now, the best kiss on daytime in a long time. Unfortunately, my husband was home last week instead of this week.(lol)

Hey ladies where is everyone tonight watching American Idol? I don't watch it but I am going to watch Grey's Anatomy if a few minutes. Is that guy stuck in cement? I have a SPOILER ALERT: Someone dies on GH again someone beloved. I am not going to tell you who it is but I don't know why they are doing it and I think it is stupid. If you really want to know, I can email you or else just wait, not sure when it's happening yet. CLUE: It's a veteran again.
