Hey girls! I am so far behind I can't even count the pages! I will have to read them tomorrow as I am whooped.

Thank you all for your prayers for my daddy. He got out of the hospital today and is home resting. My mom is here in California with me. She is with her friends using a timeshare over by the beach. I went and got her today and will take her back tomorrow. she goes back to AZ on Saturday.

Dad got dehydrated (and probably stress & anxiety too with my brother still living there and mis-behaving). It was kind of a blessing to have him in the hospital while mom was away - that way we knew he was being taken care of. His sister lives there so she kept him company.

Thanks again for all of your prayers - isn't it wonderful how the Lord works?

RACING UPDATE!!!

Hubby raced last Saturday and was able to transfer from his heat race directly to the A-main; however, the chain on the car broke as he was staging to race so he didn't get to even start!! But, we are thankful that he was sitting still when the chain broke as that could have done some major damage to the motor - and to him or other drivers.

We are learning to go with the flow and just take what we can get at the track. We've figured we have to put our time in in order to be rewarded with a good night of racing. We've come a long way from when we started last year in June.

I race again next weekend (May 24 & 25) in Show Low, AZ. I am excited and looking forward to it.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST ....

We ran practice tonite at the local track and I ran 3 sessions! Each session got better and better except on the last one I had problems getting the car into gear at the start and it kept killing on me. How embarrassing but I finally got it going and ran the full session although when I pulled the car back in to the pits, I told hubby the clutch wasn't engaging and when he checked it out - all the bolts had broken and fallen out. whoops. that might have happened when the chain broke - but we don't know for sure.

Anyway, I made some good times and didn't spin out. But the best news is .....

70 mph !!!!!!!!!!!!!

and it is a 1/2 mile track which means you turn drive straight, turn, drive straight, turn, drive straight ... over and over and over. How cool is that speed? We got hubby at 84 mph on Saturday so I'm not that far behind!!! Now I've just got to work on going in and out of the turns and I'll be set!!

hello everybody. i can't believe i am the one waking yall up?!?!?!?!some of the early birds are slipping from their job. just kidding!

it has taken me about 30 minutes to get to this page. i can not hold that button down long enough to get to this pahe. i have read everyones post and i will mention them in just a minute. i have to try to keep my posting short because i keep falling asleep while i am typing. my pain has let up a little but not nothing to hoot and holler about. the 160mg of oxyicontin is really knocking me out. i take 40 mg 4 times a day. it is also the exteneded release type too. thank you for all your well wishes and prayers. i have come to realize that this disease is serious and i can't play around with it. i have to rest, rest, rest. which i hate, hate, hate!! i feel like an old cripple women if i am not out and about here on the farm. gary says i can not leave the porch. at least for 3 weeks things have had to come to a stop. it does sadden me very much.

thanks for all the suggestions on the names. i will probably not name him for a while because i can't seem to stay on computer long enough due to my eyes closing. i will let everyone know when i think i am ready to name then yall can put up yalls suggestions.

Good morning, Raggs!! So glad that you're home and not in the hospital. Just do what you're told and get feeling better. You're not the only one sad and mad! Your critters are used to your daily routine so they will be missing you, too. All the more reason to follow instructions so it won't be so long a wait for ya'll to see each other.

I'll email you later. Roe's with her MIL at hospital for her chemo today, so she said she won't be around until later in afternoon.
