My PC froze and had to 'reboot!' I agree this paging back and forth may become a hassel, but to get in touch w/ all of you will be worth it!! I like that the emoticons are already on this site!! Hope everyone is having a good Saturday. Here in Atlanta we're having SNOW AGAIN!! I never did get to see yesterday's episode (live). I spent most of yesterday cleaning out our garage and boxing/bagging stuff up for Goodwill. Took a break and read postings for a few hours!! Went back and worked some more in the garage before Hubby got home from work. I've been neglecting my 'chores' the past few weeks, and he hasn't accepted my excuse that I HAD to read all the pages of comments we've been posting, INSTEAD!! I got 'brownie points' when he pulled in the driveway and I was actually working instead of glued to the computer screen. We ordered Chinese (delivery) for dinner and watched the news. W/ reporting another snow coming, I made a dash to the store for 'essentials!!' Got back home and our 'baby' girl, Sarah (22), talked me into going to our new 'Stars and Stripes' in our area, to check it out. It's neat. It has bowling, pool, arcade, Pizzi w/ beer, McDonald's, and party rooms all in one big building. We had a 'ball' and didn't get home until almost 2AM. After a few too many beers (she drove!), I hit the bed a few minutes after getting home! And, slept until almost 12:30 today!! Got up to a 'winter wonderland' outside! Really pretty! Fixed us a pot of coffee and turned the computer on to see the comments I didn't read yesterday. Had to stop and cook breakfast. (Weekends is a good ol' Southern breakfast, home made biscuits, gravy, grits/hashbrowns, country ham/sausage/bacon and eggs!) Time consuming, but my hubby is a 'good'll GA' boy and insists! Went back to our comments and read JC/Julie's post about the past few weeks re: our comments. I tried to post 2 comments and they didn't post, shortly after my PC froze up, so here I am! So, I hope to see all of you posting on this site and the other one as well!

What was that Susie1000, got my mind on the breakfast you made. If I had patience, I bet I could be a FINE cook myself. My cooking would get me as far as the school cafeteria. Patience is something I lack much of. Have to say, I do some cooking, but my husband is actually our cook. He does the whole essents and spices, etc. etc. My daugher and I love his cooking. When I have to make dinner, I cringe at their first bite. Here lately, they look at me with smiles and say wow, that's pretty good.

Sorry! I peeked in on our other site to see what was going on w/ it!! Everyone is a hoot playing w/ their emoticons! As for my 'cooking!' To be honest....my Hubby had to teach me how to cook when we got married. Growing up.....My mom had ALWAYS made the home made biscuits at our house, and once I got out on my own it was so much easier to go to IHOP, Cracker Barrel if I wanted biscuits for breakfast! I don't know if you've ever watched old episodes of 'Beverly Hillbillies', but my first attempts at making biscuits were like Ellie Mae's! Flat, hard as a rock, and bounced off the walls(you could use them for skeet practice)!! It took me years of practicing to finally get them right. ALSO, my hubby is a much better cook than I am. BUT, talk about a mess! He always cooks our Thanksgiving dinners for us, and he dirty's up every pot,bowl,sink and counter space in the entire kitchen! Foods delicious, but I always dread cleaning the kitchen once he's done!!

Finally i got here!!! yay!

My friends and I met this afternoon. One of them had to drive up from Lousiville, so we had a day date. It was great to see them, they are friends from college and we always get together a least once a year.

awesome sounded like fun. I was telling Nicfan earlier I just can't get warm today. I have the heat on but I'm freezing. I'm not sick.
