Good morning, everyone! Yes, I know it's early but I've got a full day ahead of me and figured I'd get the jump on it.

PattyAnn, thanks for the well wishes. These are friends I've known for many years and I try to get up there at least once a year around this time. Our New England foliage
makes it a beautiful drive. Parker's Maple Barn that I mentioned is an old 1800s sugar house where they make maple syrup. They have a great restaurant that's furnished with lots of memorabilia used on the farms in the area and it's heated with old pot-bellied wood stoves. Very rustic and charming. The food is great and plentiful. There's a wonderful country store and gift shoppe that I love to get lost in. Gee, I sound like an walking advertisement for them, don't I? We've gone there so often that it's become a tradition for our family and friends. If you ever get out that way, it's well worth the visit. It's in Mason, NH and they have a neat website.

OK, I've gotten carried away again and I need to get going here. Coffee, I need COFFEE!

Had a pumpkin muffin from Dunkin Donuts yesterday. They are SOOOooo good! I'd been seeing their ad on TV and they looked so yummy, I just HAD to try one.

I'll try to check back later; but, if I don't, I will before I leave tomorrow morning.

GOOD MORNING LADIES, well it stop raining lets see if the sun will come out. maryanne i hope you have a good time. i wish i was going away but i can tell you this, it is not going to be five years until i see my friend again. in fact she wanted me to come next weekend because there is a big show in philly she wanted me to go to with her. i wish i knew before i made my plans to go see her. i would of waited and gone next weekend so i could go to the show with her.
auntiep how are you feeling today? pattyanne has it going with you.
saphire dont give up you will have your baby. how is everything else going with you? how is your book comming along? has anyone hear from raggsies and what about susie??

Good morning to all. Well, it's ALMOST morning. I was watching tv and fell asleep. I woke up suddenly and our local news was on. Thought it was after 5am but it was just the re-broadcast of the 11pm news at 2:30am. My brain is TOTALLY confused now! Figured I might as well finish up the odds and ends on my check list...empty out fridge of perishables, put trash out, yadda yadda yadda.

I sent you all an email that I was going away, just in case you don't see my post here.

Would someone please check with Roe and see if she's heard from Raggs. Neither of them has posted since last week. Raggs had told us about the cervical procedure she had to have but didn't say when it was supposed to happen. Please keep her in your prayers, especially, along with our usual prayers for each other.

well pattyann it sounds like you are ready for the winter. are you doing anything for holloween? the girls here at work are all dress up like prisonersthey have the white and black strips prison outfits on. one of the girls couldnt find one in her side so she dressed up like a hooker. me i donmt dressup. well ladies i will check back later and hopefully some one will check in.

hi everyone, yes it is finally me. thank yall for asking about me and maryann thanks for the prayers and request. i did go yesterday for the cervical procedures. they did a little more than i expected. i got one shot right below the back of my neck to numb it then they put like an iv thing in my neck. i also got 3 cervical epidural injections. very painful, no numbing wokred. they waited anout 20 minutes and i didn;t feel anyrelief so they put this implant thing of steroids and epidural stuff in me. i have it in like a mini iv on the back of my neck and down a little. it slowly gives me meds and this morning i can truly say that it is about 50% better on my neck and left arm. right arm is still bad. i go back every 2 weeks for more direct injections and more meds. we are hoping to do this for about 3 months. right now i have to lay flat all day and slightly on my side. no pillow either. i am taking a bathroom break right now so i decided to jump on for a few. the whole idea is to keep the steroids flowing in me to relieve some of the swelling in the disk area so the swelling doesn't push anymore on the nerve and vertabrae. it is an experiment. he said i have a really bad case of the degenerative bone disease. i will have to have surgery at soome point but they are hopping the meds now can help and reverse some of the pain. the swelling is so bad right now that the surgery would be very iffy as to wether i would be paralysed during the process. i am hoping and praying for progress.

roe has been very very busy with the kids. i emailed her earlier so i will see how she is today. she is such a great mom but this school work is killing her. the teachers are strange too.

ma have fun but be cautious. patty, auntiep, and my sweet gval yall have a good weekend. i appreciate all the emails too.

i will try to check in on my next bathroom break. i am fixing to watch gh on soapnet too.

I just finished watching Friday's GH and I must say I'm really enjoying it. Nothing exciting like their adventures happen around here!

Sharon - I'm glad the procedure seems to be helping you. Be sure to do exactly what the Dr. says. You take care of yourself.

Gval - I don't celebrate halloween. Years ago my town stopped having door to door trick or treaters and have a big community party at the school for all the kids. It is safer for the kids. I'm OK with this it saves buying candy!

hey gval, how are ya sis? i am up for a few minutes so i thought i would pop on. how are things going at home since you came back from your trip. did mitch go out for trick or treat? it has finally turned cool this morning. tired of the 80's. hope this coolness last. i did get to see gh friday. looks like claudia is getting her walking papers.
gosh i have missed so much and there are some new people.

i am doing ok, the pain in my left arm is coming back pretty bad. atleast i had a few days of relief. i am still receiving the meds thru my iv in my neck. don't know when my neurosurgeon appointment is.

hey patty ann, glad you internet services go fixed. sorry i have been mia too. i am trying to work with these procedures but i have to have faith that down the road it might help. ilove the idea of the falll festival. our town does that at the different farms. we didn' do it this time. there are hayrides, corn mazes and haunted farms. i never get any trick or treaters but i live pretty far out from town. glad your new furnace is working good. so glad you made that ivestment. by the way, have you seem orheard from the friend who has the lake house? how are your nieces and nephews doing?

Just sitting here... my minds a racing...

Good news I am a new grandma (Nana) thats what they call me to a brand spankin new granddaugter her name is Ruby Jayne she weighed 6lbs 8 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long mom and dad are not very tall....she is just awesome...

My hubby has to have a heart catherization on Tuesday...and has Kidney disease...Hmmmm...this test could really effect him...could very easily put him in kidney failure..I am not ready to lose him...he is my soul mate...best friend..MY LIFE for 29 years...Wow...I Pray that everything will turn out right...he has Cardiomypthy...the only thing that can be done would be a heart transplant...but they turned him down at Cleveland clinic due to his Diabetes...so hopefully everything goes o.k....I will be stressing till then...

bonbon i want to say congratulations on the birth of ruby jayne that is such wonderful news. our prayers are with you and your husband, you are not going to lose him please stay in a postive state of mind. ruby just got here and she is going to want to spend time with grandpa. please let us know how things go.
pattyann thats nice that the town gets together and has a big party for the kids. not by me kids go door to door but this year the weather was so bad that i only got four girls who were together no small kids. the rain was so heavy i felt bad for the kids. and we ended up eating the candy.
raggsies i am doing ok and how are you feeling this morning? that trip i took help my state of mind in a big way.gh is good lately and i am happy that cluadia is leaving. i just hope nothing happens to carly baby. so what do you think of dante? i like his attiude he makes me laugh

Gval - You gotta love Dante! he makes me laugh also, sometimes I see a very mischievous little boy when I look at him!

Hope everyone is well. It was very windy here today. I went to the bank and went to a couple of stores and about got blown away. Although anything other than snow is OK by me.
